Isak really only scored pretty goals prior to joining us, and what Eddie worked on (which finally culminated in the final season with us) where he was scoring all types of goals. You would assume our coaching staff would have identified areas of improvement, and are now working through that with Woltemade - including runs he makes, aggression in the box, etc.

IIRC he's very much a box crashing, goal scoring mid who does not much else. I would rather we our LCM be a goal scorer + creator type versus a goal scorer only type. We need our Dani Olmo imho.

Will go down as our all time pound for pound best player ever. Captained us to a trophy, grafts his bollocks off, does the defending, pressing, assisting, crossing, corners and crucial goals. All the while off the pitch he couldn’t be a more lovely chill down to earth bloke. He’s become my all time favorite player.

Play Gordon RW and have Gordon run at the fullback and cause havoc. Literally the easiest decision going, that. Barnes LW and Wissa or Wolte up front.

He absolutely needs to bust a gut more at certain times, need to have better box instincts at times and gamble on runs, sure. All of that can be improved on and also we as fans can also give him a break and some benefit of the doubt. It’s not like we weren’t told by everyone who scouted him that he is a unique talent that needs to develop more.

He’s been pretty damn good over the whole season so far for us as we sit 9th. Not sure what people expected out of him - have some bloody patience. He’s not isak. Never was. And our support players need to play better to his strengths + Nick needs to continue adapting to new league and play style. Not sure why that is so hard to process.

Just need to keep staying positive and pushing for points, play smart football and we have another half the season to play for.
