They have no create first wingers. They have two shoot first pass second wingers. Their attackers prior to this summer were signed to get up the pitch and shoot. Their midfielders have been drilled to find Mo or Cody or Luis.

Ain’t feeling bad for anything Liverpool related. Ramsey isn’t going to be sold in the summer if it works or doesn’t work. reality is we need 1-2 more midfielders still imho. An attacking one and a defensive one. We need fullback cover and probably do need to eventually move one of the backup wingers and bring in a younger challenger. I assume we will be opportunistic on striker front too where Osula could be sold and another brought in.

I think it's a bit insane to me that while having worked with Eddie for 4+ years, despite being hurt quite a bit, and still being around the building/squad/tactical anlaysis he still seems to have dropped off from that incredible spell he had before his bad injury. Just very very odd.

He's a physical monster, press resistant, knows 100% the tactical plan and got away for 2+ seasons playing first team football to mature his footballing ability and skillset - he's a full England international and should be on the plane to USA for the World Cup. Yes he will cost a fortune but I would argue he could play the 6 role and push Tonali into an 8, play left sided 8, play in a double pivot and is probably a very good eventual succesor to JL/Bruno. Aggressive forward progressive passer and great ball carrying.

Anderson - Tonali - Bruno would be a brilliant 3.
