  1. Ameobinho - he seriously cracks me up, he scores the goal and his confidence sky rockets and hes trying to beat blokes to the by-line. Jonas playing extremly well, wow.
  2. I've really lost my love for the game over the course of 2 years. The influx of all this money has ruined the premier league, ruined hopes. When we were barnstorming the league with Sir Bobby, there was a genuine feeling that "Hey maybe we can do this!" and the title was up for grabs. I posted a while ago, how unattached I feel to the game in general now. My love for NUFC and every bit of pain and joy that comes with it will never die, even way out here in sunny Florida. I still have found my ways to show my support as best as I can. But like I said, the money, the fakeness, the stirring in the papers, its all finally just nearly reached a breaking point. I've found myself follwing the MLS more, trying to find some attachment to a team out here and following the USA National Team. My friends joked about how unexciting it is to play Reading today, me, somehow, in my madness - absolutely pumped to be able to watch it - I guess I'm just thankful there are mediums for me to get access to follow. I agreee with what alot has been said up here. Roman Abrom has ruined the Premier League, and I'll stand by that. I don't know when or if it will ever be the same.

Hah, you see what this is driving all of us to man? We are going mental. Re-reading waht I wrote earlier, I'm even face-palming my own posts.
  4. If Tayls goes, can he go mental and beat the crap out of Llambas and Ashley please?

    RIP sale thread.

If he does it the way I think he could... He's selling every player with value and then selling the club to Shepherd, Shepherd will then have a skint squad full of youth players and Geremi. Shepherd will then have to pump more money in to bring in players in January to save us from going under again. Its so plausible, think about it. Based on everything you've seen since his time here, could that not be the most plausible thing? In Ashley's stupid mind, he is probably thinking "You left me a club in debt, now you'll get it back, but a debt in the form of a lack of players, good luck" http://themallorca.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/freddy_shepherd.jpg If he does sell the club to FFS, I hope Shep comes in with a cricket bat and beats JFK senseless, with that stone cold smirky ugly mug of his.
  6. Man, that day we had Shearer as boss, and even after relegation, I thought well - we have our Shearer, he will help us climb out of this. Gosh, Mike Ashley, Keith Harris, and Llambas and co have really ptu a dagger in our hearts.

    Jonas to Pompey?

Ashley sees our youth team performing well and assumes they are better than the Championship, so he sells all of our senior players thinking that the championshop sides are no better than youth/reserve teams from the premership. I finally get it....
  8. My excitement for this match has no turned to utter worry. - Takeover obv. not happening - DOL "no longer in contention" awesome, but that means Kinnear. - KINNEAR. - Tayls may be sold - KINNEAR.

Obv not. His Doctor who said "you can manage in 3-4 months" is obv. a Mackem, its clear to see that his doc has it in for us.

    JFK

I agree - but im afriad that he'll be announced today. That possibility has my sick to my stomach.
  11. Sir Alex: "Danny, we are sending you out on loan..." Danny: "Great boss, to where?" Sir Alex: "Newcastle." Danny: "........you c*nt" Will fit in well with JFK if that greasy haired tw*t comes back.

I said it before and I'll say it again, the FA needs to have regulations in place that notice these type of things and mediate. This is beyond rediculous, not only has he ruined a club, but he's also impacting THE CITY OF NEWCASTLE, the PEOPLE, and lives. He's tarnishing reputtions. Sport Regulation Bodies in America like the NHL, NBA etc handle these. Like I said before, the 2 Tampa Bay Lightning owners were having a spat that was destroying the team, the organiztion, etc. they mediated and gave both a 60 day window each to present a buy-out, if both fail to do that, the club will be taken from their ownership and sold by the NHL to the highest bidder. Maybe that isn't the RIGHT course of action, but I'm starting to lose my mind.
  13. So is Llambas or Ashley's son doing these deals? Jesus this is useless. I hope we get someone in on loan/part-exchange or something. Rediculous. I wonder if CH's wish-list is the one Shearer had, with whoever is available in on sight.
  14. This sickens me. Get the F**K out ashley, you've not only broken our hearts but your slowly eating away at whatever we had left with your absolutle destruction of our club.

Skirge man, thanks for keeping this thread entertaining. prob only thing worth looking at is what crazy sign, gear you've got on Marley, hah!!!
  16. Im actually delighted he went abroad, I would have hated seeing him running around in Spurs, Arsenal, Pompey, etc. shirt.

There need to be future provisions to prevent ownership groups of destroying clubs, don't know how logical or how at all if it could ever work - but something needs to be done - be it with the FA, the city, something. This is getting out of hand, in the NHL - the Tampa Bay Lightning have a co-ownership and they are to a point where the club is not going forward, has become a laughing stock, and the NHL are fed up b/c the two can't agree or work together and its having a major impact on the city, team, league, players etc - so, the league has intervened and set provisions of a buy-out of the cowners. Each having a 60-day window to buy one another out. If both fail to do so, the league will find itself a buyer for the team to bring stability.
  19. I thought the exact same thing when I read that.

To be honest, well written from Bird.

    Jonas Gutierrez

He was probably the key. I remember him saying how he could be as big a Ginola at Newcastle. He was bigging up both Jonas and Colo at that point. There was a spark and excitment started by Keegan that most likely brought out the best in them. We've not had a manager since that has instilled such confidence into the players. I don't want keegan back, but you can't deny his feel good factor and belief in players. Very true, it all goes back to how well and mighty we were playing under Keegan and how it all fell apart when he walked out. Jonas looks like he doesn't really care anymore, and the article posted above shows just that. He'll be gone, Duff will be moved to the left wing and Lua-Lua will take up the right if the Jonas move goes through. Another one bites the dust really, the quality and potential and promise we had just nearly a year ago - man have times really changed.
  22. how about Shearer's against Everton?
