From my point of view we would have been relegated if we had not signed him, of course the argument is we could have purchased someone else. Do I think we could have made a move for a better striker? Yes I do, but obviously Eddie thought he was the best option available at the time. He played a part in keeping us up. I would not shed a tear however if he was sold this month.

If Wood is a mistake Howe’s hit rate so far has been pretty impressive, Isak has made a very promising start. And I guess there is Karius which seems a curious one but he hasn’t played a game

I’m assuming you mean Wood. He did a job last season and played a part in keeping us up IMO, he hasn’t contributed much this season but I wouldn’t call Wood a mistake when we needed a striker last season. It could have been a choice between Wood or nobody??

Not that I seen him much but most of the time Gordan hasn’t been that good. Seen him cause some problems in some games but the prices being quoted to Chelsea seemed a bit excessive but that could be due to Chelsea tax, he seems a bit of a hot head who gets involved in stuff that he doesn’t need to. I would be more open minded to McTominay especially as we are so light in CM. Ultimately I guess if Howe was in favour of signing them I would trust him. Hasn’t made a mistake in the market yet to be fair..

Good luck lads ?? Worth covering those bets?? Day saved by a four fold on over 2.5 goals with an 88th minute goal to bring it home. On a half decent run, the £50 win this afternoon pretty much breaks me even for the day and covers the bets on the 5.30pm game so can’t complain.

Love the way he plays. So good on the ball and has that nasty side to him as well. Keane/Vieira etc were as successful as they were because they had that nasty side to. Like Vlad said we will probably have to cope with a red at some stage but man we can forgive him that I’m sure ??

Flying so far. I couldn’t find the bet with the companies I use ? Sky bet had it 13/2 for 30+ booking points each. Didn’t like the odds so got greedy and added some others one of which being Leeds to win ???‍♂️

Thought he recovered well after a ropey start obviously helped when Joey and Willock helped him out. Thought he was a cert for a yellow after his start to (missed out on a 50/1 treble because he didn’t ?) so thought he did great to not get one. Think ultimate to push on we will need an upgrade but what a buy he has been for us. Played his part in a transformed defence ??
