I went on all premiership games over 2.5 goals. It's not going to fall that short. Ffs I'm convinced if I put @ £100 on Man City right now Watford would come back.
-
Need a Mitro goal for requestabet at 20/1 to come in. Will top off a great night. Could do with £100 in my pocket

Probably because it was a good foul? a good foul? The guy was by the half way line ffs... From the free kick they could lump everyone forward. Yes we switched off after that. But still Colback shouldn't be doing that there.
-
Can't believe the commentators were praising Colback for that free kick...
-
I think the odds are tempting people. No doubt Griezmann smashes a goal in under a minute..
-
I've covered the 0-0 with Unibet and will go for Vardy FGS for the free bet later so if anyone else fancies it I've just given it the kiss of death. Done a double chance treble on Monaco, Madrid and Leicester..
-
Not sure what to go for on the bet365 offer. My head is saying keep it simple and play for the draw. Heart wants to go for a Vardy fgs?

The reality is that winning the title would have meant a lot to Keegan, as of course it would have done for all of us. The 'Love it if we beat them' rant shows that side of his motivation. Losing to Liverpool at Anfield is not a calamity, but there were certain pressure games towards the end of the season, against other clubs, where our lack of a defensive Plan B showed. The nightmare game for me was Blackburn away. 1-0 up with 12 minutes to go and the team had a collective nervous breakdown, losing 2-1. That was the point when we needed to be a bit more canny. Very surprised at those stats. Yeah I think the Blackburn loss made a bigger dent to be honest. Commentators gleefully reminding us on numerous occasions that he is a North East lad

I went for a draw last night with the BET365 offer, was looking good for a bit. Pissed me off to no end how much Arsenal waved the white flag after the 2nd goal!!

He got it wrong yesterday in my opinion. Too many changes while we all knew Oxford would be up for it at home. Maybe we would have got away with that team at home? Obviously he had one eye on the next league fixture and he believed that team sent out were good enough to cope. Maybe he overestimated how sharp Mitro would be after a lay off or he thought here's my chance to get him up to match speed before the final run towards the end of the season. Like many have said though it's clear our squad is nowhere near ready enough for the Premiership and a few key injuries could see it more of a limp over the line to get back there. Hopefully the lack of transfer activity is more about not being able to find the players that are not good enough to transition to the Premiership than our owner playing funny buggers.

From what I have seen of him he looks very erratic and very frustrating to watch. Would much rather Townsend or hang on until Atsu gets back before signing Barrow.

Mother nature is a Mag! 1-9..... 6 in a row!
-
The last quotes reminds me of another clubs philosophy at one stage There is a perfect manager out there for that kind of thing flogging your best players and not moaning about it. Could you imagine the macktracking there would be if he became their manager
-
I just went on the site now to see that link, wtf is wrong with them. And I seen a thread "Mag in Sacremento" apprently a Spurs fan now agrees with a Mackem that we are deluded, all because the Mag (in full kit mind you) stated that Sissoko is shit and he feels sorry for Spurs

Probably just worded horribly but intended to mean it was not a flat 30m upfront figure. I'm guessing it's something like we receive the full £30m if he stays there all 5 years; if he's sold on, we receive x% of the deal or some fixed figure, whichever is higher. Basically just that there are clauses and conditions where we could conceivably receive less or more than the full 30 million. If Spurs have agreed £30 million with us they will pay £30 million. If he gets injured and retires after one game we get £30 million. We would have to agree to any future discount on the amount they owe but why would we do that. To get the deal done and get him out? "look, 6m a year for 5 years. if he doesn't stay the full five you get [amount calculated by formula] as a final payment" I don't know if the article is even legit or not but prices are not as concrete as you make them seem with statements like "If Spurs have agreed £30 million with us they will pay £30 million." Yeah that's the number spouted by press but everything is subject to this, that and the other clauses with contracts. Sorry, basically whatever fee Spurs have agreed with us (I am assuming £30 million because that is what the media are telling us), unless there are appearance addons or winning competition clauses (usually it will say £30 including addons) we will get the agreed price in full. How long he stays at Spurs is irrelevant. They can't turn around to us after paying us £12 million that we are now selling him for £10 million, here it is so we are left £8 million short. If they sell him for £10 million after 2 years they will still have to stump up the remaining balance in full.

That article is insinuating that he may not see out his contract which is a fair point, however, that will have no bearing on what they owe us.

The 30million is still income in this financial year. Just the cash will be in installments. The only way this will be a problem for us is if we are relying on the cash coming in to buy players in the next window. Given that we pay in full for transfers I can't see this being a problem. Its total guess work obviously but if Rafa has been told he has all of the Sissoko fee to spend then Rafa has 30million to spend in January regardless of the amount of cash we have had for it.
-
Villa and Newcastle were always going to be targets no matter what we did. If Burton Albion spent a shit load of money like that I'm sure people would be harping on about "dat ambition and desire to get in the Premier League"
-
What's the point in keeping on loaning him out. Its quite clear he isn't going to make it here no matter how badly I wanted him to early on. Just let him go by mutual consent or some other FM contract bollocks like that?
-
As someone said earlier a pretty meh signing. Purely squad filler by the looks of it. Obviously Rafa has confidence in Gayle, Mitrovic and Perez, I am assuming a loan out for Armstrong. While Murphy isn't one to get the pulses racing we need a squad and different options.
-
Given the amount of games we have and that fact he's done OK. I'm more than happy to hold of as a squad player. Like many have said would like to see us sign a starting winger though.
-
What? You are not excited about the prospect of Jim White in his yellow tie running the show with his bitches. Maybe we will be involved in this one???
-
:) I remember that, what a tool of a bloke. (Kinnear btw not Yorkie I don't know Yorkie)
-
Joe Kinnear? I'm sure he made his debut about 3 years prior to that waste landing in Newcastle. Yeah pretty sure Souness signed him. Didn't he make his debut in the UEFA Cup against Palermo?
-
As long as we are not short in other areas I'm not against the Ibe singing. It's a squad game, Rafa likes to change things up and have options. Plus there's a shit ton of games to play this season.
