  1. I wonder what excuses the pundits would roll out then?
  2. Gutted that we have already played Palace at St James', imagine that reception he would get. The only downside to Pardew going is the potential for Palace to turn us over, can you imagine his fucking smile then However, my hope will be, he shows his colours and is shite from the start with Palace and our new man will get extra out of our players and we smash the bastard.
  3. Yeah that was cringe worthy. Why? What point were the fans trying to make? I imagine being Anita at the moment and seeing this average Joe ahead of you.
  4. f***ing hell I remember those PBM was the bollocks, not sure how the Southampton fans took me selling Matt Le Tissier to my mate who was Lazio manager during my first week in charge, but hey ho, I got a week worth of dinner tickets in real life for the deal, who could refuse?
  5. I must say I was over the moon with the win yesterday. I was firmly in the camp at the start of the season anything to get Pardew Out, however I learned that's not going to happen anytime soon. While I'm happy with the 3 points I am no Pardew fan, just hope a good run will attract other clubs to him. I fully understand fans who take no enjoyment out of positive results at the moment. I'm easily sucked in by good results. I know I'm building myself up for a fall I know. But it's been so shit for a year or so now that when something like yesterday and the result in the cup against Man City happens I'm going to be happy.

    Kevin Keegan

Some good players in that Hamburg side as I recall. Manny Kaltz was a fine sweeper, Horst Hrubesch an excellent centre forward, and foil for Karl Heinz Rummenigge in the National side, plus the midfield artistry of Felix Magath. Keegan was the jewel in the crown though, I don't think I've ever seen such work rate from a player save maybe Peter Beardsley. Keegan never stopped running, and was brave as a lion too. What p*ssed me off reading that is football today can be that simple, yet, it becomes over complicated by manager's who think their stats and tactics they read in some f***ing book or tape, or hell, do what Mourinho did some time ago and think that is how it should be done. We had an opportunity to go guns blazing against Benfica in the Europa League, at a rocking SJP with everyone fit and ready to play and the idiotic manger we had decided to keep it tight for 70 mins and then unleash some attackers for 20 mins of magic when we needed goals. The atmosphere was fantastic and the players should have been told to use that as energy. I remember a performance against Chelsea in the FA Cup when Kluivert scored, the crowd were electric that day and the players fed off that. Could you imagine Keegan team talk, the players would have come out feeling like Ronaldo and the fans would have encourage that feeling. I miss the Keegan days.
  8. Imagine making a post like this without pictures, absolutely reprehensible. Looks like he went from: To this As a recently seperated man this gives me a bit of hope. Are all new ones like that?
  9. Ref seen all of that. Is it just me or is attend being an uber cunt tonight?

  11. Some of them are in for a shock aren't they. Haven't read the whole thread on that forum but haven't seen any concerns over the possibility of Joe Kinnear playing a part Hopefully that fat basket will send Pardew up there and we can appoint someone decent. Wishful thinking.
  12. I think he could survive a Stoke like result but if Swansea thump us I can't see Ashley sticking by him, surely the money he will lose in relegation will be more than the compensation?
  13. Has that "banter" from Mike Ashley being leaked backfired on him, he'd look a complete tit if he was selling it off as banter one day and then doing what he said he would do in jest the next day. Maybe he is keeping him on for the Swansea game to save a bit of face... Which is a joke anyway, can he look any more of a dick than he does now. Surely now would be the optimum time to sack the prick. Have someone in temp charge v Swansea and have a few extra days to find a replacement during the International break I hate this, it almost feels like the season hasn't started as its been so difficult to support the club.
  14. This has just broke me. I'm having one of the most shite weeks of my life and this morning I woke up thinking well at least Pardew should be sacked, and then this..... I see no reason, this one more game or out business is stupid, why would one win make a big difference. If we beat Stoke last night how would that prove Pardew is the man to take us forward. It is obvious that Pardew is waiting for the chop he knows he has lost it but seems that his long term contract is giving a lot more breathing space than I thought it would do. I thought if Mike was to make such a long term commitment there would be something that in there that would mean he could get out of there cheaply.
  15. It won't push him closer to the edge, Pardew can't lose. If we get a pasting it'll be 'deluded geordies, it's Man City, what did you expect lol' and if we win Pardew gets the credit. I'm not sure how many more embarrassing capitulations he will survive. Surely there will come a breaking point even for Mike Ashley? Or am I deluded.
  16. I bet some of the dinosaur's in the press and "in the game" will be spouting off about how "well" Pardew has done the past two games while completely ignoring the fact we only got a point at home to an average at best Hull side (though coming back from 2 down is worthy of some credit to the players - Cisse especially) and scraped past a weakened Crystal Palace team. Normally I would have been over the moon with last nights result but was pretty meh! and then normally gutted with the Man City draw in the next round but now it excites me a little that we could get an embarrassing pasting potentially on TV which could push Pardew closer to the edge.
  17. Can't believe Pardew is getting credit for yesterday, why does 2 goals erase the dross that came before it. Some of our fans lapping up the comeback on twitter. Chuffed with a draw at home to Hull ffs.
  18. Just seen him on SSN, he does look like a broken man, I think if it is bad enough today it may push him over the edge. Good enough for him. I know our problems won't be magically solved by him going but there is a desperate need for change. I believe we have a crux of decent players that a good manager will be able to get a lot more out of..... I hope today is the day he finally goes, in an ideal world he walks and gets nothing from the club, but I'd take him being sacked even if it does cost us a lot of money.
  19. Oh hell yeah. Seen the article on twitter read it and quickly came back down to earth when I realised it was based on conjecture rather than facts.. FFS.

    Adam Armstrong

Too much sense in the post By the sounds of it he is a wanted player, all we do is tell Championship clubs if they want him they accept a recall clause, surely this kind of thing is not out of the ordinary, the player gets some first team action and the club are protected if an injury arises...
  21. I know he is a bit of a twat but wouldn't be too disappointed with Di Matteo. Knows how to play different styles, can play the underdog role really well and is not afraid to play youngsters. Massive upgrade on Pardew.
  22. Does he expect to gain our respect doing shit like that? Pathetic. The only way to win us over is performances on the pitch. Cringe worthy stuff from him.
  23. Obertan is a name I used. A bit like when we get linked to a striker and someone on the forum asks can he play left back? It was a light hearted comment me also trying to be funny (poor attempt I admit) indicating I have no trust or confidence in Pardew's ability. It's not as if I am going down Coral to put £100 on Obertan starting 20+ games. Again all I was saying is that I believe that we have a decent squad but a shit manager. I would be surprised to see Obertan start, then again, I didn't expect Shola to get more credit from Pardew last season than HBA did.
  24. No he wont Maybe not, but I think you get what I was getting at? That you even if you saw us in a great position squad wise you still feel the need to invent rubbish to have a whinge? Genuinely have no clue what your point was other than that Invent rubbish? I am not sure having no confidence in our manager is inventing rubbish? Obviously my message wasn't as clear as it was in my head. We have a decent squad, a few players away from having a more than adequate squad, yet I have no confidence in our manager to use that squad effectively and is fairly likely to play players out of position based on him getting his favourites in the starting line up!
