Jackson Follman the goalkeeper doesn't seem in need of a second amputation while Neto's father has said that the medical staff has told him his son will recover and could possibly return to football as well. The other two Brazilians (one journalist and one player) are still in intensive care but in stable conditions with Alan the player no longer in risk of tetraplagia. As for the two crew members from Bolivia, they've seemed to have escaped with lesser injuries and should also recover well. This is all still early news and unfortunately it can all change very fast, but for now the news on the six survivors are very positive.

As of right now there's nothing suggesting it was attempting a controlled crash landing. The son of one of the pilot says they didn't stop to re-fuel because of delay while other says it's the way this company operates to save money. A Colombian has come out saying he sent in papers to sue them last week as he got to know about their ways. Apparently the plane was due to land but because of emergency landing of a bigger plane they had to circulate in the air and instead of telling the truth the pilot (who apparently is a partner of the company, which belongs to a Venezuelan and runs out of Bolivia) kept quiet until last minute when he said they had problems with electricity. Reason for this is that if they land without blaming the loss of electricity they'd get a huge fine which would basically bankrupt this tiny company. I usually wouldn't speculate like this and will wait for final information, but really makes me angry and makes it all more understandable to why it crashed. I really hope all this isn't true and that it was due to problem. Plenty of articles online in Latin American newspapers supporting this and a lot of expert condemning the pilot. Fuel priority is also classed as an emergency, so the pilot is legally supposed to inform ATC of this and even declare a Pan if needs be. If the runway was blocked by another aircraft then that's ridiculously rare and so unlucky for those involved in this awful incident. Whether he did is another thing though.. all will come out once the investigators have checked the black box recordings. Amazing from St Etienne honouring Chapecoense tonight

A little regarding the club: Chapecoense was in Serie D (the League 2 equivalent) in 2009. In 5 years they climbed to the Serie A and then in two years they established themselves as a Serie A team and made the Copa Sudamericana finals (Europa League equivalent) while being 9th in the Serie A in thier third season. They've ascended through the Brazilian league system in no time and were just two days away from making something so remarkable.

BBC reporting that another defender Alan Ruschel and two keepers survived. They were together with a crew member and journalist Rafael Henzel the first one to be taken to hospital. In the last hour or so Zamperi Neto was found alive as well and taken to hospital, but now news are coming that one of the keepers, the #1 Danilo has passed away in hospital. These are all unconfirmed reports coming out of Colombian tv. Alan Ruschel is on his way to hospital from the medical clinic to undergo surgeries and was apparently able to call his family and talk to them and seems to be in stable condition according to family members and Colombian TV (so probably the one story that is the most accurate at the moment). The airplane was also refused to fly from Brazil to Colombia directly as it belongs to a Bolivian company according to regulation. So had to do a pit stop in Bolivia before flying off to Colombia. Something that seemed very unclear in the beginning as to why it would land in Bolivia first, but according to regulation and ANAC the Brazilian airplane authority a flight from Bolivia isn't authorized to fly between Brazil and Colombia without landing in Bolivia first.

Defender Zampiero Neto has been taken to hospital. They're hoping and looking for more survivors according to Colombian tv.

Dare I say we're once again one of the best teams in the world, let's just hope it lasts. Neymar was absolutely class. Argentina are absolutely awful defensively and in midfield now though They really are. Paulinho and Renato Augusto, two players in the Chinese league outplayed their midfield. Their has actually become worse over the years, something many thought impossible.
