I think they could do well if they get couple of signings in. Right now it looks like they're relying on Vardy and Drinkwater to have the same kind of season. Mendy is a good replacement for Kante and Musa is a good signing. Still think they need to make major signings to succeed, or maybe they just feel like giving these other players a chance to play CL football and not care about solidifying a place in the top 8. Mahrez, Mendy, Musa, Drinkwater and Vardy are good players, but still think they need two or three new defenders and a new left-winger and striker if they really want to get another European cup spot.

For Leicester, aye. Some profit in 12 months. Sure Chelsea will find a novel way to ruin the bloke. 36m is the new 10m like. s**** money. I'd have Matic over Kante every day of the week to be fair. Surely Conte won't play them both? Wait, what? Is this 2014?

Maybe he'll have Beitar luck next time. Fuck off

Well he's always just been this extremely talented player who lack any sorts of mobility. People hoped he'd become much more mobile and dynamic, but his game is just made for walking football. He's a classy immobile player, which leads to him being a bit too inconsistent. Don't think he'll be a hit in Sevilla, but hope he succeeds as he's just one of those classy footballers with a very good left-foot and vision. Who else has had that type of style? Kevin Nolan and maybe Berbatov? Kevin Nolan? Kevin Nolan is pretty much the opposite of Ganso while sharing the same immobility. As for Berbatov, he was a striker, much different kind of player. Ganso is just really immobile. He's a like a less fluid Rivaldo with not as great of a left-foot but possibly a better vision of the game. I mean he's really really talented player, just lacks the dynamicity to play at the top European level in my opinion. There's few clips out there that shows his talent.

Actually I'd love to keep the for all of August and sell them on deadline if it's a must. Both could probably secure us a win for the first five games which would leave us in a very good position.

Come on. Inaki Williams will have have 100x better offers, including staying put. Exactly

WHAT? Was impressed by him at the Euros, but money is just ridiculous now.

Digne - Umtiti partnership for Copa Del Rey and whenever others are injured. Like it. Both young as well.

Neither should Eric Dier.

Triggs Mole, I find it perfectely reasonable to call him a fraud . On a serious note though, I hope he does improve under Guardiola.
-
I saw him play once, and he destroyed West Brom in that game. Seems mint based off that one game. Saw him play quite a bit last season. Seems to have so much potential, but he is equally as frustrating as Sterling. Just seems to dribble without thinking much at all. At least he's a powerful built lad, so might actually have more potential than Raheem who is an absolute fraud.

Years? If he doesn't do anything about it, by the looks of him he'll be lucky to last next year.

Not retiring. Had one out of plenty exams showing some kind of cardiac arrythmia, but will do further tests and has done after the medical exams which haven't shown it. So could all well be a mistake by the doctor as well. Guess we'll see soon enough. -
Juve should sell Pogba for £100m and buy Sissoko for £35m. Or Man U should just buy Sissoko for £35m. Either way, get us those £35m please. (no way Sissoko stays here after that performance, just can't imagine it)
-
Has to suck to be Bale. Clearly their best player in the tournament, yet not in the team of the tournament. Also Kimmich? Not sure I agree with that.
-
£35m would be fantastic piece of business for Sissoko. Although if we got a bid at £30m and it was 11.59PM on August 31st (guessing the window closes minute after that?) I'd take it.

People have underestimated Portugal for a while, in the last 16 years have been going far in more than half of the major tournaments. Euro 2000 - Semi-finals loss to France (winners) WC 2002 - Knocked-out in group stage. Euro 2004 - 2nd. Lost in finals. WC 2006 - Finished 4th. Euro 2008 - Lost in quarter-finals to Germany. WC 2010 - Lost to winners in round of 16. Euro 2012 - semi-finals loss to winners. WC 2014 - Knocked-out in group stages. Euro 2016 - Champions. I mean that is a very good record for a team that has for most parts never been considered a favorite to win anything. Quite impressive record in international tournaments.
-
Fantastic goal, but it's when thinking back to this tournament I'm not going to think of a goal. I'm going to think of Iceland, Wales and the shit football offered and played by 24 teams.
-
I want £30m for him now. Would've been happy with £15m-20m just a week ago or so. But with his performance today should have skyrocketed his price.

Despite this Messi and Ronaldo discussions you still have to give credit to a guy that first carries his team to a Champions League win, then carries his national team, putting them on his back and taking them all the way to become European champions and proving he is the best player in the world. Seriously, congratulations Pepe!
