-
Hahaha and Lille equalizes in the 92nd. This is fucking incredible. 2-1 71' 3-1 72' 3-2 85' 3-3 88' 3-4 89' 4-4 92' hahaha and now penalty kick to Marseille in the 95' This is the most incredible match I've ever seen.

Craziest supercup match Ive ever seen. Marseille pull one back to then concede a inute later to 3-1. Now in the last 7-8 minutes theyve turned it around to 4-3. Lille without Cabaye aint shit

Hazard scored a nice goal, 2-0 Lille.

You're right But honestly, I do think it has loads to do with just like you say the national team. That's what he wants, and if he could get a call-up with us I think he'd be pretty happy though. It's every players dream to play for their national team.

Never understand this attitude, people gambling on him giving two squirts of p*ss if we deny him a move. The thing is I rate Enrique very highly, and rather not play against him. We have the money and rather he signed a pre-contract with a foreign club than strengthen one of our competitors. It's not about denying him a move, its about rejecting s*** offers. Enrique is worth a lot of money in todays market, he's still relatively young, got PL experience and is one of the best left-backs in the league. For £5million we wouldn't even be able to sign a decent left-back. It's a position where the World is right now lacking quality. France has couple of decent ones, then there is Marcelo, Lahm, AssCole and Baines. If he is playing disinterested and halfarsed he wont exactly be playing for us will he? Brilliant for team spirit when the other players know they have a liability alongside them in such a key position. Quite how you can go from 'we have the money' to 'For £5m we wouldnt even be able to sgn a decent Left Back'........ This isnt Football Manager man, when a player doesnt give a s*** he is worthless(Owen), you are effectively writing off £8m(including wages etc) and for what? A stupid personal opinion about another team getting him while we still need a replacement which wont happen while he is here? You don't get it do you, its not about personal opinion of another team. I believe that with him we stand a bigger chance of progressing, I'd take a gamble on Enrique as I believe Jonas and Colo would probably make sure he doesn't play halfarsed. I'm just against letting him go for s*** money to ANY (!!!!!!!!!!!) club in the PL. I just think that if we sell him for £5-7m we probably get someone s*** in or rely on Dummet and Ferguson. Life is for the adventurous man! Take a gamble You talk about progressing by holding on to a player who wants away? LOL at Jonas & Colo having some magical hold on him too......You are right though, i dont get it after all theres never been a footballer transferred in history that was a success for under £7m i should have seen sense and accepted it as you have.

He left prior to the ship falling though and he also didn't get a lot of playing time. NZogbia that is ; )

Except, Bassong was the standout player. He was f***ing alone that season and had we had 10 players like him we'd have finished top half of the table. But I get what you're saying. But getting Bassong for £4million then sell him on for £10m in two years would be like something Ashley dreams off like someone said earlier. Especially considering he's done it already with Bassong Aye smartass thats what I meant . Buying him for £500k? Selling him for £8million, buying him for £4m and selling him for £10m. Would be like Ashleys ultimate dream, after that he'd probably buy himself a huge house in the French riviera and retire.

pre-contract with foreign club. Rather that than selling him for £5-7 million to cunny (!!) dalglish
-
Aye, that's why we need to sign someone LIKE bassong but not Bassong
-
Someone like Bassong and Erdinc would make this summer a successful one.
-
Omeobi intercepted and it was converted for a one to nothing Newcastle advantage in the ninth.
-
How's the game so far? How was the goal? Fuck u all
-
No it wasn't, and the prostitute man strikes back. Nice goal by Jonathan. And why is Benayoun playing for Barcelona?
-
I think there's a wee bit of a difference on calling a player "handy" and hailing him as one of the best of his generation He's the best "dribble and cross" winger we have. A handy player for Barcelona should tbh be a great player. I just think he's a very average player. Like I said there is nothing exceptional with him.
-
Am I the only one who doesn't see the ''greatness'' in Afellay. Think he's a very very average player (in top clubs standard) and will never excel to be considered one of the best of his generation.
-
They're on the down. Shit team los four in a row or so and got a new manager.
-
Not like we're alone in that. There must be a reason that only Villa have apparently been willing put in an acceptable offer for him. Well can see the money being an issue. Teams like Bolton, Stoke, Wolves, Everton probably don't have £10 + 50-60k a week to pay and top 6 and Sunderland probably don't need him since theyve bought wide players. We on the other hand, should have a shit load of money and should be willing to put £20 million into signing Zoggy, Cabaye and Erdinc. With the other two and all these fees it should reach about the £35-40 we should have from selling Carroll, Nolan and possibly Routledge. I understand the strict financial control policy by the club and understand they don't want to pay the huge amount for Sturridge. But £10 for Zoggy is an incredible price for a player who can win games on his own and is very good at set-pieces. Having Cabaye, Barton and Zoggy would make us a threat from everywhere on the field with set pieces. With that said I think the club doesn't want to sign someone after having sold him couple of years earlier.
