Do we have Rondon on the bench like? EDIT: Aye see we do, didn't even realise, shows how interested I am in the game..
-
Change the record man, everyone knows he isn't very good. When he stops playing games, I'll stop mentioning how bad he is. Again you get what you pay for, he plays becsuse we have nobody else. If this was a league game Rondon would be playing. Yep, £5m doesn't even buy a half decent Championship striker these days. As a player he's a failure, but as a £5m signing he's doing, at worst, what you'd expect.
-
Good ball from Joselu, Murphy at least making runs like, nobody else is doing anything to threaten Watford. Kennedy is invisible as usual.
-
Oh no, have we failed to sign a left back on loan for a club that doesn't even matter, personally I'm moderately indifferent!

The Euro - US Dollar rate didn't really change immediately after the referendum result. The Pound plummeted. History suggest that there is quite a lot of doubt that the Euro will be equally affected. Please read my post, I said both would drop in relation to other currency's, not that they'd be equally affected. Also perception isn't the same as reality, nothing actually changed in reality after the referendum, only perception. A no deal exit would make actual real world changes on both sides. For instance a 19% drop in the EU's budget, finances speak louder than mere opinion/perception.
-
The pound will be effected more than the Euro, especially early on. But no deal isn't good for either side, so I've got no doubt they'd both drop in relation to other currencies.
-
Euro would drop as well on a no deal like. Dollar will be king all of a sudden, except Trump exists so maybe not.

From what I've heard they wont have many staff left to fill them, leaving in their droves because of the new contracts. The store closes at 5pm every night as they don't have enough staff to cover until 9pm. Also lighting is fucking expensive ya know!

In other words he didn't really want to sell, someone has to murder him. Seriously though he's going to end up pushing some fucker over the edge.
-
Hopefully he continues these ill-fated ventures and is forced to cash in on NUFC sooner rather than later. Last roll of the dice to release some capitol that leads to his ultimate dimise would suffice. Why sell us when it’s a stable and money generating asset during uncertain times with Debenhams and HoF. My worry is that his other ventures not doing so well means he is less likely to want to sell. I’m probably missing something, like. Its not stable when he's running it into the ground and allowing for relegation every year. While he's got plenty of cash he can risk relegation every year for the money he gets when we're in the Premier League. But if he really was in a position where he was on his arse financially he wouldn't be able to afford the risk. I mean if we're really talking about him being in serious financial trouble, then yeah I think he'd cash in and get a nice £200m cash injection.

Can't believe anyone thinks he played ok today. I don't dislike the lad, he's had good games for us, but today he was awful.
-
Fucking short corner bollocks man, we score our one goal direct from a corner then keep trying short ones...
-
What the fuck is this? Ignore utter shite from certain players because they're a good team? No but stop fucking bleating on about being beat by Chelsea, fuck did you expect? I'm complaining about what a player has done not about a result you simple fucker.
-
Don't get out?, he walked right away from William.
-
As good as they are they don't need our players jogging along behid them making no effort to stop a cross. Or walking away from their attackers and allowing them time to hit the ball.

Shit defending and he doesn't get the chance to hit it like that if Yedlin doesn't give him loads of space.
-
Yedlin just making no fucking effort to stop the cross, just jogging along. Then just after for the goal he wanders right over away from Willian for no reason, leaving him totally free.. fucking shite.
-
What the fuck is Yedlin doing?, twice in the same move he gifted Chelsea the ball.

You'd have to be on £50k a year for 50 years to earn that amount after tax. Also because you'd have that cash in the bank you could easily earn at least 4k+ a year in interest, probably a lot more in future.
-
Only reason yous like to talk about wages per year is because you all get a hard on over really big numbers
-
So they admit right there that Sports Direct are not paying a fair amount, as to "pay on a fair commercial basis" you have to pay more than Sports Direct. Also just because its not illegal to do what he's doing doesn't make it reasonable or right. I don't care if Ashley thinks its fair because he owns both companies. Its a disgusting thing to do when you're dealing not just with a normal company but with a sporting institution which has tens of thousands of loyal fans, not customers, fans. The fucker knows exactly what he's doing and its nothing to do with a reluctance to pay for something he sees as his already. He's reducing NUFC revenue by funnelling that potential revenue to Sports Direct and then turning that into "debt" that NUFC owe him. This achieves three things. It gives him a excuse for claiming the club shouldn't have an ambition for more "we can't compete". It increases his profits in Sports Direct (so that debt at NUFC isn't money he's lost at all). It also gives him a excuse for the amount of money he wants to sell the club "I've put X amount of money in". He loses nothing, yet if he sells the club he gets his money back plus all the imaginary debt, some of which he's already paid himself back from the club revenue he allows to come in.
-
Our revenues should let us do much more than just compete with the likes of Huddersfield. If not for the horrible fat prick.
-
Not my point whether you do or don't think they "deserved the money" my point was that if you aren't taking money out then the club makes its own resources to spend. So the shite people (like John Hall) spout about new owners having to have big money to spend is just that, shite. But on whether they deserved it or not, I think there's nothing wrong with being paid for your job, but they went far too far and no I don't think they deserved the amount they took. Not when at times they were sanctioning dividend payments (majority of that going to them) in seasons when the club had actually lost money. That's the behaviour of a greedy leech not a good business owner.
-
He was good compared to Ashley, a bit shite at his job but actually wanted success for the club. He still took huge sums of money out of the club though, as did John Hall.
