  1. I agree dude. A manager who would give him a f****** bollocking for acting like a tard would help as well. "STOP f****** ABOUT STEVEN YOU FANNY!" "..oh..ok sorry..." *Biiing* becomes best defender EVAR... He will become a great player trust me and he will become the captain of England one day.And thats the bottom line because Stone Cold said so. Captain of England? heh heh, nice one.
  2. Neither can i, given that you don't know what happened in the game.
  3. One of our forwards is ok next to the top 4, another is POSSIBLY going to get there. Teh others are utter shite.
  4. How has he done a good job? Transfers - why did he completely ignore our most desperate requirements. Tactically - inept Substitutions - NOT PATTINSON YOU ARSE! Motivation - seemingly zero he didn't ignore them but was unable to get what he wanted/needed....unlike some previous managers who if they couldn't get the right one would just get anyone.right one or anyone, you decide ? He was unable to get what he wanted?? WE HAVE NO LEFT BACK. ANd a championship centre back. If he couldn't find what he needed, he should be taken outside and shot, because thats a core function of his job. The fucking idiot.
  5. Of course Roeder shoyuld be blamed. He shouldn't be in the job, but for as long as he IS, and he is at fault like he was last night, he will rightly be lambasted.
  6. *Reverting from Shepherd Is God mode* *Entering Non Shepherd Related mode* *Search memory database for "Need Defenders"* *No replies found* *Exit* *Re-Enter Shepherd Is God mode* *Open file "Preivous Boards No Ambition"* *Copy Paste* *Open file "Im Older Therefore Better"* *Copy Paste* *Exit* *Have a w**** Not far from some people's behaviuor on the Luque thing.
  7. It was Givens fault that Roeder wasted £5m on Duff when we should have bought a LB/CB. Tbh. Imho. Afaik. Itk.
  8. Prove him being a good man manager. Prove him being a disciplinarian. He has no tactical skills that we know of. Bad, bad idea.
  9. That would be nice, if Roeder was not such a wanker.
  10. How has he done a good job? Transfers - why did he completely ignore our most desperate requirements. Tactically - inept Substitutions - NOT PATTINSON YOU ARSE! Motivation - seemingly zero On transfers, I think Roeder has the same problem as Robson and Souness - a Chairman who's secretive, difficult to work with and tries to make his own mind up rather than relying on the judgement of his manager. Motivation - I think the players generally play for Roeder. Tactics and team selection - usually okay, although not at his best last night. I think there's an issue of expectations here. Following the Robson era, we still expect to see a top four side, but we're not any more. That's been chucked away and it'll take a long while before we get back up there. But I admit, last night was a cock-up. As Roeder himself said, no-one played particularly well, and that's an indication that the team as a whole wasn't set up right. ROEDER chose to not get a left back. ROEDER chose to get a CB half a season too late, and not even a permanent one. ROEDER chose to buy a player we didn't need a TENTH as much as we needed others. ROEDER chooses to play Carr at left back. ROEDER chooses to play Shambles. ROEDER will choose to play SHola as soon as he is fit. ROEDER chooses to play Dyer where he effectively destroys all supply from one flank. ROEDER keeps playing Duff. ROEDER throws Pattinson on as a tactical sustitution. ROEDER is unable to change the way we play. ROEDER mandates the "hit it to the big man" SHITE we play. ROEDER has no ideas. None of those things are anyones fault but Roeder. Get the fucker out, he's rubbish. As many of us said he woudl be.
  11. "Prize money" for finsihing a couple of places up the league is better than that in the UEFA cup, i reckon. ANd the gates are not much to shout about, given their size. As for prestige, there is no prestige to be gained from being shit in Europe.
  12. Plainly Roeder agrees with me and is ensuring we don't qualify for the Intertoto. There can't be any other reason can there? You mean we aren't even going to defend our major European trophy. Only fair to give other teams a go. A big team like us, we'd just spoil it for everyone else.
  13. Spot on, but you've SEEN the defences of Shambles over the past few weeks.
  14. Of course he won't. Because Roeder is just as shite a manager as Shambles is a defender.

  16. We need a GOOD manager. Which we haven't had since Robson, and would be almost certainly no closer to getting if we had Shearer.
  17. Shay Given has to expend effort off the pitch making sure Taylor does what Given wants him to do. Not just Taylor. All of them. If the manager and keeper can't get that through to the defence, they should all go. All of them.
  18. i want to keep Given, but get rid of Championshipplayers like Shambles, Babayaro etc, and get GOOD defenders in. Defenders is the obvious first logical step, but that would be last chance saloon for Given, he'd have to gel with his back four as a unit, and if he didn't, I'd have him sold. If he couldn't control them, agreed. But he has ability. Something the defence do not*. * Until the Bramblephiles kick in, and start to pretend he has talent/potential/etc.
  19. i think you'd need to win it to get that, and even that might be stretching it.
  20. Don't worry, I agree with you. I said 'market value' rather than 'value' precisely because of this. His goal vs Spurs and his goals vs Alkmaar are likely to be highlight package material (spectacular/ good + in Europe), thus high profile (though perhaps that's a bad term). Anyway, they're likely to increase his value a fair amount. If a player scores a few spectacular goals you think he must be able to put away the tap-ins as well (Tony Yeboah style), even though getting to tap-ins requires a different set of skills. His first touch needs to come along a bit. His vision too, although I 've seen a few instances to tell me he has a decent eye for a throughball. It's his movement that I think needs improving most though, to make the best of his pace. His first touch is often absolutely awful.

  22. The league gives us more than the UEFA Cup does.
