He's a better player than Allardyce is a manager. Abd the point is that Allardyce's tactics aren't necessarily right. In fact, so far they've been largely wrong.

A recent (Kent-based) RS on 606 was whining on that "the spine of the team" had not played together for a while, hence their not being 4 million points clear at the top of the league - and the "spine" he meant? Thats a very relative statement.

Look at the players he has spent a fair chunk of money on. Look at the tactics and player selections he sticks to. Look at his inabilty to deviate from his rigid ideas. Look at his insistence on like-for-like substitions where possible. Maybe 12 games is too early to says he's not good enough. But providing a list of transparent, weak excuses whilst ignoring the glaringly obvious does neither us, him nor anyone else any credit.
