Dont really know why you blame Clark for the goal? Merino had a good game except for the goal, he should have closed Mooy down, also Manquillo should have been there to close him down when Merino went to buy a hot dog. Dont know why Geremi is playing with Diame on the back of his shirt.

Benitez for Managing director and Manager -
Anita looks like he is limping, not sure which foot.. Damn he is slow today.
-
He's conceded 30 goals in 14 games for AZ edit: for reference their other GK conceded 38 goals in 32 games before Krul signed How many of those 30 were his fault? For reference the Dutch League is typically the highest scoring league in Europe. Krul is finished at the top level. And Darlow isnt top level. We should go out and sign Valdez from boro.

Deserved results. We play very bad, Lascelles and Dummet need a rest.

Matt Ritchie (now Technical Director at Bournemouth)

“It’s not just his ability, he is a great character. He is a great and experienced player – he has done this before and he knows what it takes. He is non-stop with his talking to us, telling the boys what needs to be done. He tells the whole team when to press and when to hold. As well as that he is a great lad. And then there’s his goals too.” - Dwight Gayle -

Benitez said: “Out of all the players we were talking about, he was the most clear that he wanted to come here. “For him, Newcastle was a massive club in a massive city, and he was talking about the fans and the stadium. From day one, he was very excited about the move. Clearly, he wanted to come. “That passion can be seen in every game. “You can see he’s running all the time. Sometimes, we tell him to stop, because he’s putting so much effort into it. I prefer this kind of player, the one you have to ask to back off rather than work harder. “He’s an example to his team mates with his attitude and ability. “I don’t like to talk too much about individuals, and (it) was very much a team effort. “He’s someone who puts a lot of work into every game. He’s always a threat and a problem for other teams. I’m really pleased with his character, because it’s fundamental to the way we want to play. “When you play these kind of games under pressure you’re looking for that kind of player. “The fans here love this kind of player. For a manager, you can believe in him knowing he will always do his best. He’s always so positive and is an example for the others.” Should be our captain! -
Whe should go for that Ryan Sessengnon guy. 16 yro kid scoring two goals against us.
-
His losing streaks, his derby records, his sorry excuses for tactics etc. were all far worse than a spur of the moment headbutt, as embarrassing as that was. Dont forget his lose ratio with us is bigger than his win ratio.
-
what happened to this guy?
-
Him and Darlow, what a partnership in the making!
-
Come on you cant blame Lascelles for that incident. He did the right thing when he blocked the striker so that Darlow would have a easy job to clear the ball. Noone would expect the keeper to miss there and the whole blame is on Darlow for that goal..

I agree with you that he started ok and his holdup play was decent in the first 30 minutes. The problem with him is that he is to slow, not a good finnisher nor has the work etich to compensate for his flaws. He looked totally knackered before half time against Derby, and was strugling to keep up with the pace of the game. I dont think we have ever seen him in form nor with confidence, but will we ever? People say that he needs to be given a fair run of games, but whenever he is given he either gets injured or a red card. He should be bossing this league, instead he looks below average. I do like Mitrovic because he is a Newcastle fan, but I just dont see a future for him in at our club nor the Premiership. I hope I am wrong..
-
Mitro looked slow and unfit today..
-
He grabbed Lascelles then threw himself down And he tried to do the same on the last corner too...
-
Poor lad his confidence seems very low atm. He need to be on the bench for a few games like in the start of the season.
-
In the summer he was an important motivated player with believe in himself. Now he is Pardewed and a benchwarmer...
-
From the highlights it still looks like we are struggling to defend set pieces...
-
After seeing the highlights, I think he looks more fit then I have ever seen him. He actually looked mobile and that he could outrun a couple of the preston players. Kudos for him!

This sort of player is why they invented pay as you play deals.. Last season he would have played free.
