More votes for Andre Marriner now maybe?
-
Arsenal was playing 12 against 11... very bad ref again.
-
As long as he playes good he should keep his place..
-
This is just getting embarasing... We're playing so bad atm.
-
Barton is one of our better players.. but that only says something about the quality of our squad... I would like to see Smith leave before Barton tbh. The only class players we have imo is Coloccini, Enrique and Jonas. Hatem Ben Arfa looked class before he met De Jong
-
Easy question, Who is the worst ref in the premiership ?
-
From Goal.com: " Tim Krul Couldn't be faulted for either of Wigan's goals and dealt with crosses into the box confidently. James Perch Flop of the Match 5.0 Poor performance. Inaccurate with his crosses when he did get forward and was tormented by N'Zogbia throughout. Completely lost the Frenchman for the second goal. Mike Williamson 5.5 A suspect touch nearly let McCarthy in on goal in the first half and was out-jumped by the much shorter N'Zogbia for the opening goal. Fabricio Coloccini 6.5 Composed performance, read the play well and good across to disturb Wigan's attacks. An accomplished showing. José Enrique 6.5 Got forward to good effect and combined well with Gutierrez. Solid in his defensive duties as well. Danny Guthrie 6.0 Lively performance, some good movement and intelligent passing. Sometimes guilty of failing to track back and cover his fullback. Wasted a free-kick in the second half. Cheikh Tiote 6.5 Has a good reading of the game, gets himself into good defensive positions and always seems to find the right pass. Robust in the challenge. Jonás Gutiérrez 6.0 Made a bright start and was Newcastle's main attacking outlet, but struggled to penetrate in the final third and his end product was sporadic. Joey Barton 5.5 Gave the ball away in the build-up to Wigan's crucial second goal and was at times wasteful with his passing. Didn't get forward enough in support of his attackers. Peter Lovenkrands 5.5 Largely anonymous in the first half. Had two half chances but couldn't make the most of the opportunities - failed to get a shot off on goal on either ocassion. Andrew Carroll 6.5 Made a couple of good runs in behind the opposition backline but the pass never reached him. Had the ball in the back of the net but handled it to steal it off Al-Habsi. Missed a late chance. • Substitutions Wayne Routledge 6.0 Replaced Guthrie as Newcastle looked to chase the game. Shola Ameobi 7.0 On for Lovenkrands with half an hour to play and gave Newcastle an extra dimension. Took his header well and troubled the Wigan backline with his movement. Nile Ranger N/A A late introduction in place of Perch. Had no impact."
-
Well give me a reason why its bad? Ranger have the pace to go on carroll's headers. It is offcourse a gamble, but when things aint working then its time to change them...
-
Why not? looked like he had some good crosses against chelsea. If s.taylor or simpon was back I would have put one of them on the r.back and moved R. Taylor on the right wing...
-
Team I would pick: Krul Taylor Coloccini © Sol, if injured Williamson(just because i want to see Sol and Colo together in back). Enrique Jonas Tiote Barton S.Ferguson Carroll Ranger Team I think we'll see: Krull Perch Coloccini Williamson Enrique Routledge Tiote Barton Jonas Nolan Carroll Score: 2-1 win to us... another error by perch
-
I have nothing against seeing Perch in a Newcastle shirt if he was good enough...
-
Krul 5 Perch 1 Williamson 5 Coloccini 8 Enrique 6 Guthrie 3 Barton 4 Tiote 6 Jonas 6 Carroll 6 Lovenkrands 3 Shola 7 Routledge 5 Hughton 5 I think we went to this game with the wrong attitute. We looked like we were playing a friendly game in the first half, noone looked really bottered. Neither Perch or Williamson went up for the first goal, which led N'Zogbia going up alone and scoreing. Williamson should atleast have jumped, and Perch should go into the player.. Second goal was a screamer from zoggy, but i think Krul should have taken it, it is his corner... The first half were totaly shite, Hughton got the team and tactics wrong for this game. He did have some good substitutions though. If i were hughton I would have taken Løvenkrands and Perch off in the first half, or in the half time break. Perch, Løvenkrands, Guthrie and Routledge is to lightweighted for me, they are not suited for the premiership. I think Perch is looking worse for every game he played. Did Guthrie work defensivly?? Løvenkrands has lots of speed in him but never uses it, he isnt a Striker and he isnt a Winger, I think it was wrong to sign him again... Routledge isnt made for the premiership, maybe we should try him as a striker? -Make him the new Bellamy... We also need someone to take our freekicks, and we have to stop chipping the ball into the box from the freekicks...
-
Perch isnt even championship quality :\ What happend to our fighting spirit we had in the start? We look like we're not interessted and a lot of players are ballwatching..
-
This is embarrasing! Our defensive play is shit...
-
If they reviewed every game and gave a one match ban to the player caught holding another player on two or more occasions then it wouldnt be any players left to play the game. Both defenders and attackers are holding each other, so who is to blame then? Ive never been a fan of video technolog but now i want it, this is mainly because it feels like referees are bought nowadays..
-
Wonder if we're going to buy ben arfa now?
-
Wonder if Enrique is any good to hit corners. I really miss Laurent Roberts corners...
-
Think Jonas had a very solid first half, but the second half he looked tired imo.
-
IMHO Wayne Routledge is nowhere near to be a Premiership player. Everytime anyone gets near him he looses the ball, and he doesnt go into challanges at all. He is decent when noone is near him. To bad Ben Arfa is injured long time now, I was really looking forward to see him or Jonas on the right side.. Our weekest positions is Right side and we lack a good striker.
-
Thought i never would say this, but we should start R.Taylor on the right side. He cant do that much worse than Perch can he?
-
People expect a win against Stoke because they are shit etc. Its typical us to draw or loose this game like we did against Blackpool. My prediction is a dull 1-1
-
I hope it will free money to sign players like Ben Arfa. The only thing i dont like is that the Sports Direct sign looks so cheap...

Bolton Nolan: http://i.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/archive/00996/walcott_996998c.jpg Newcastle Nolan: http://images.icnetwork.co.uk/upl/nechronical/may2009/8/6/kevin-nolan-331470078.jpg You dont have to be a nutriton specialist to see Nolan needs to loose som weight. Chris Hughton should get his fitness team working on him, give him a new diett or something. He is a very good player which he showed against Everton, but he is struggling to keep up pace for the whole 90min.

Im not there with Krul yet, but i know what excactly what u mean.
