You tell me? What deal was that? End of last season Hughton saying we had an 'advantage' over everybody else knowing what our future was meaning we could prepare early for bringing people in. Yet we're now seemingly behind in terms of recruitment... Sadly we cant just "bring people in" without asking the other club They might not be doing deals as early as we would like them to and lot of our signings might be dependent on other clubs bringing someone in first.

Do you think it's more like buying a candy bar? transfers shouldn't take weeks like this one has been doing. there is 3 weeks of the transfer window to bring in the 3-4 players we need, we simply can't afford to lose any time! i seem to remember us selling woodgate to real, in a matter of hours, that's how business should be done! Couldnt disagree more. Why's that? Because I wouldnt be happy if our chairman was talking about deals that havent been concluded yet. I much prefer the way it's now. Yes, but why would you be unhappy if Hughton confirmed Arfa was flying in for talks on Tuesday or Wednesday, or denied it if it’s not true? I see no reason for him to do that. I wont lose my mind if there's a transfer saga going on for a couple of weeks without any info from our club. If you think its disrespectful to the supporters that he doesnt reveal stuff about our transfer targets then I think you need to get your head checked.
