  1. 9 home win predictions and this:
  2. That's fair enough. S'pose I am just being pedantic.
  3. 60% glory hunters? f*** off with that bullshit lol.. There are many, MANY more fake Manure fans in terms of sheer volume.. you and I both know more fake Manure fans than fake Chelsea ones. The Chelsea glory days are far too recent for people my age.. everyone who is my age and older and have hunted the glory from a young age support Liverpool or Manure... I despise this breed and they are far too prevalent in our society.... Globally, there are easily a dozen times more ManU glory hunters than there are people in Manchester. In fact, at 330 million, the amount of ManU glory hunters worldwide is about 5 times the population of England. Compared to Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea are nothing really in glory hunting terms. So everyone not from Manchester is a glory-hunter? That's a dangerous rationale IMO. I'd guess that the large majority were, but having percentages/stats for something like this seems too optimistic for me!
  4. The post match interviews are going to be awesome.
  5. Avram '#you don't know what you're doing' Grant taking Chelsea to the cusp of a Prem/CL double! Madness. Happy for Lampard. Still don't really like him/rate him immensely.
  6. Positive: Chelsea's enormous star-studded squad will suffer marginally because of ET. SJP awaits biatches. [Perhaps Moscow, also].

  8. True. Also thought Rio was fantastic. Vastly under-rated. Now don't get me wrong, I like to make fun of his 'linen' story as much the next guy, but what a player. Intimidates strikers that should be intimidating him. Also a cool head and decent technique. Re: Ronaldo v Messi. Messi is the better player, I would say, but Ronaldo is far more destructive against weaker opposition, which is why he'll be in the limelight. Ronaldo isn't exactly shite, but he clearly struggles against decent opposition. Messi isn't as immediately devastating, but the opposition are less likely to throw him off his game. Finally, ya gots to love Scholes' strike.
  9. Fiiiiine we'll take Drogba off their hands. Martins------Owen-------Drogba Despite his undoubted talent i would f****** hate it if we signed Drogba. He's a cheating, moaning, self obsessed fucktard! yes, of course you would. Why is it so hard to believe? I pay my money to be entertained, not to watch some arsehole throw himself to the ground like he's been shot every time someone brushes his shirt. The guy is an embarassment, a total disgrace to football! I couldn't give a toss how good he is, i genuinely would not want him to play for the team i support. Goals are boring like. Btw, what a load of s***. while i wouldnt go so far as to say i'd hate it if he signed, i'm not far away from agreeing with steve on this. i think drogba's an embarassment as a player and as a human being, i'd find it very very difficult indeed to support him but you'd be happy for us to sign El Hadj Diouf who throws his pregnant wife down the stairs for christsakes Drogba goes down a bit too easy, doesn't make him the devil Actually, I'm with Steve_69 here too, tbh. Drogba's indubitably a good player, but I do hate him. I hate all players like Diouf and he, and would much rather they didn't play for us. I don't care if cheating wins, I don't want a team full of Tim Cahills, Lee Hendries, El Hadji Dioufs, Didier Drogbas. Even one is too much. I know someone will say it, but for the record, I can't [off the top of my head] think of any of our players that go to ground too easily. Steven Taylor comically tried in his debut season, but I can't recall him doing so lately. Now he's just vicious, instead. Then again, I am Entertainment > Results too, so make of that what you will.

  11. A little bit of a win-win situation here according to some! We win, we win. We draw, we draw. We lose, we screw Man Utd a little.

    Today's other games

Well, unless Southampton clinch a winner, Hull will start the last day 12 or so goals behind West Brom on goal difference and have to rely on Stoke choking at struggling Leicester.

Yes! This gives Hull a real chance for automatic promotion.
  14. He's circumlocutory if anything [ ~ see what I did there Garth, you long-winded buffoon?!].
  15. Former Mag Bradley Orr made the Championship side.
  16. It doesn't get better. It doesn't get better at all.

  18. Agree, for once. I think our Goals Conceded this season is a little misleading. That's not to say we didn't concede that many, but the circumstances in which we conceded many was when the team went behind and knew they wouldn't get back into it and just collapsed. Or games where we defended/invited pressure for 90 minutes. I'm not worried by the defence in the slightest. Full-backs are fine, Jose still growing obviously. Faye is big and quick, and yeah Benjani had him, but Benjani could outmuscle most. Taylor is talented, and will hit his peak in 4-5 years and worth sticking with IMO. So, not a World Cup winning defence, but good enough for now. If you compare that with an honest assessment of our midfield, and consider Viduka's fitness/age, I think we have more pressing issues, and pertinently, issues which could make us a significantly better team for our money.
  19. Well, yes, the contract can be signed setting the date of the transfer within the transfer window. [/pedant]
