He is a killer, man. Don't let his lovely, affable German personality fool you. Also, he has more pace than I thought when he gets going. On the breakaway Willock fluffed second half, those long-strides were devouring up the ground.

Non-goalscorer with another goal.

Not a great game but he's still giving his all, not hiding. I think he'll come good.

Also just behind Bruno on fouls won

These Friday night fixtures always do me in.

I think it's also quickly forgotten that even during the Isak halcyon days, the team were often criticised for the gaping chasm and disconnect between Isak and the rest of the team. (Although I do think getting Woltemade to press by himself is wasteful. He doesn't have much closing speed). BIg Nick's ability to motivate runners up the pitch is great. Just need Tino and Hall back to properly capitalise.

Another strong performance overall. Took one snapshot which seemed to have a bit of juice, but it was blocked. Don't buy the "not a goalscorer" stuff at all. He's better for the team a little deep than being a poacher but I see goalscoring instincts - and actual goals Similar to Polic I've got no issue with him trying to unlock the defence and losing possession, the only notable misstep today was when he did it in our defensive third. Ref was bobbins today. Need one of our gobbier lot to say it in post-match like Osula or Gordon after an island game

They'll stay up comfortably. Opening fixtures have set them up nicely. Taking points from others is good IMO. Especially the likes of Chelsea who we hope to be competing with for European spots in May.

His ball playing and composure.

I didn't think the performance as bad as others on here. Thought we just missed a bunch of chances. Also, have a fair bit of grace for the team while we're so critically compromised at full-back (no disrespect to Burn and Tripper who are doing their best). Surprised Fulham didn't get after them more. Gordon did really well today too I thought. The nice cross for Bruno's header won't show in the stats everyone cares about of course

Sorry This has been discussed to death so I'll drop it.

I think you've missed my point. Whether we got fair value is arguable, and almost, futile to discuss. The club pivoted from "not for sale" to a sale.

Isak had ages left on his deal and the club still laid down like a doormat for Liverpool, so I'm unconvinced this provides any additional assurance.

Won't find an uglier brace than Gyokores tonight if you live for a hundred years..
