I'm boycotting everything that Ashley could profit from in protest. Games, shirts, stores etc. I hugely disagree with what they have done in forcing Keegan out, so i would feel hypocritical supporting Ashley & Wise. If bloody Wise takes over as manager that will be the clingon on top of the shit. Can't see a really decent manager wanting no control over players comings and goings anyway. Just selling who they like. What a mess they've made of it. Maybe its Ashley's way of advertising in order to sell more quickly and make his quick profit. Or maybe he's just made a right hash of it.

Commie. I hate to harp on about the NFL but since every team no matter how big or how small has to adhere to the salary cap it means the gap between the best teams and the worst teams is MUCH, MUCH smaller than it is in our Premier League. What this means is that good management/coaching, player trades and recruitment etc (transfers) play a bigger part in the game. It also means that the power balance shifts around the league on a fairly regular basis, and the absolute worst team in the league at any one time knows that given the right selection of head coach plus consistent team building and desire can see the worst team become a serious challenger in a matter of years. I am just advocating their system as a sort of template with the appropriate tweaks made to suit the world of our football. Think the salary cap would be excellent IF it were legal. It would have to come from fifa though and be a worldwide cap. If it just happened in this country everyone would just go to another european league and we may regret it. Limiting the number of foreign players would definately be a superb decision. Gives the England team half a chance in future.

Bassong looks good so far (still early days though) and Geremi's a usefull player to come in if needs be too. I'm assuming Barton will be banned for quite a while at this stage barring a miracle.

Outclassed today. Given 8 - Best keeper in the league would have been 6-0 if not for him Beye 5 - ok not all that good though. Taylor 4 - Ripped to shreds at times Colo 6 - decent Enrique 6 - Was looking good (Bassong 6.5 - Early days but like the look of him so far). Jonas 7.5 - Our best outfield player by some distance. Great tracking back, and had a real go at them. Butt 5.5 - A mixture of good and bad moments. Unlucky with his header Gutherie 5 - Doesn't do enough for me. Zoggy 5 - runs came to nothing Ameobi 5 - Tried, but did very little overall. Owen 5 - Didn't really happen for him today, no supply.

Both looking good. We just look s**** without Milner though. Although I was a fan of Milner's, I don't think he would have made a shadow of a difference in this game. All of our players are getting crowded out the moment they enter Arsenal's half with the ball.. We miss Martins too obviously. But Milner would certainly give us more than Shola & possibly Zoggy too!
