What I thought too. Lets hope Rozehnal is signed to fill the squad and that we bring in atleast one more CB like Sol Campbell. Doubt we will see two new left backs though, even if it would be great and I would love to see baba leave. I would love campbell here too and love to add him to the list. Think we may be dreaming a bit though as i am with Richards and Royston Drenthe. Nice dream though and stranger things have happened!

mackems.gif West ham will pay £17m (way too much imo) but he wants to go to Spurs (apparently) but i doubt they will pay that much. Something/someone has got to give in somewhere it'll just be interesting to see who (my moneys on Bent ending up at the hammers after a long stand off).

Must admit i like the sound of Hollands LB Royston Drenthe (could well be just what we need) so i'll be watching with extra interest in tonights game. See how he does in comparrison to our LB Leighton Baines. Anyone any idea how tall Royston Drenthe is ??

Big Sam has to be given time. What i want to see is consistant improvement of our team. Top eight will do next year then higher and higher from there.

If he'd move to boro or Brum he'd almost certainly preffer to come here with Emre. The guy is mega talented (can use both feet play up top or either wing, good in the air too) i,ve seen him play in the CL a few times and he's usually the best player on the pitch (i include the games V AC milan and Man u in that too, look at his highlights on YOUTUBE by sticking his name in). On a free its an complete no brainer for me, as he'd cost a fortune if still under contract. Stick him on the LW to start with as Duff is out for 6 months and Zoggy isn't filling me with too much confidence. The guy is absolutely worshipped in Turkey as AS is on tyneside, but more so. Worst case scenario is it doesn't workand we sell him back to Ferner/whoever for a few Mill (nothing lost maybe even a few mill better off). + With Emre and Tuncay we'd be most of Turkeys favourite Premiership Club which means £££££££££ increased revenue TV rights, merchandise, shirts etc etc. Please go get him Sam!!

Agreed. Anyone with half a brain can see he took us backwards at a frightening speed. We finished 4th 3rd and 5th under Sir bobby before our genius of a chairman decided to sack him and replace him with someone blackburn were about to get rid of and who were delighted to recieve compensation for.We were 15th and in relegation form when he was sacked. The only reason Souness can't see it is that he's blinded by his huge Ego. A half decent person may actually have held their hands up and said "ok ok i f***** up there" on arrival i stated this is the best squad of players i've ever worked with , then i pretty much wasted £50m". Squad: Barton Harper Given Ramage Car Hunty Edgar Nobby Taylor Ben Haim Baba Dyer Emre Duff Milner Barton Butt Zoggy Carroll Martins Ameobi Owen Viduka Got to be two fullbacks for me and i'd definately go all out for Micah Richards as he would add so much to our team young, quick, skillfull ,strong and tall, scores goals very hard to beat and gets up and down the line very well reminds me alot of a young Lillan Thuram. Saying that Nobby did do a good Job last year. Left back has to be improved more so than any other position. I'm struggling to think of any fantastic foreign LB's but we must hopefully be able to get one of Leighton Baines, Shorey or Matty Taylor who could all do a good Job for us. Tuncay on a free has to be a great signing especially as he's such a good playmaker and can play up front or either wing. He's been playing LW alot which suits us as Duff's out for 6 months and Zoggy doesn't fill me with any confidence at all. The thought of Tuncay on one Wing and either Milner or Dyer teeing up chances for Viduka and Owen/Martins or Barton breaking from midfield excites me alot. Taylor will be number 1 choice at CB and really shine under under BS imo

If Sam wanted NRC he would have tied him in with the Parker deal. I don't think NRC is a Big Sam type of player.

Given or Butt. I'd give it to Given though. Taylor's a future captain but not just yet.

I think it's £1M more a year in wages...........hopefully the mercenary little shitehwawk will take the extra money and become the Hammers problem. Fingers crossed. Yes its 1m per year more in wages. If we have to match that to get Barton (hopefully we won't) then we should add an extra 4-5m on the price of Parker to teach them to mess with us (they should be deperate enough by then 8)). Interesting to see if Big sam can make this work. How about Barton and Boateng? Barton is a bit risky because of his temperment, but the more i think about it the more a feel he could be a big risk worth taking, after all gives 100% and does a good job on the pitch, scores a few, makes a few, battles/tackles hard and could prove a snip at £5.5m. We need 4 good CM's in our squad for next season imo as Emre will most probably get injured at some point and any other injuries/suspensions could see us short. BUTT BARTON EMRE BOATENG gives us decent CM options imo

tuncay is great in FM manager not so sure about his skills in the real world. Goals to games record; Sakaryaspor A.Ş. 66 (32) Fenerbahçe 132 (53) Turkey 38 (12) Scored a hat-trick against Man Utd a couple of years back, too. I've seen him play a few times now and think Tuncay is top top quality. Very good hatrick V man u in CL and also gave AC Milans back 4 some serious problems when he last played them. If we could get him on a bosman we'd be laughing, this guy is rightly worshipped in Turkey. As already has been said look at his video's on utube to give you an idea. Can play in the beardsley/Rooney type role behind the main striker or on either wing. Would be best imo behind Owen or Martins imo because he's very creative. But since Duff is ...'Duff' and will be for around at least another 6 months due to injury and Zoggy's off the boil he could be handy in the Lwing spot too to start with too. Emre's supposed to be staying so fingers crossed he could swing it for us.

I'd preffer to keep Parker as if used correctly in a DM role (player of the seson there for us season before last) and NOT a 'Gerrard Role' with Emre being deployed too defensively ala Roeder he'd be fantastic imo. If he really wants out though then reluctantly sell for as much as poss. 8.5m + Tevez
