    Dyer guilt

He's certainly been a little waster for us in the past and personally i don't really like him at all. No surprise that alot of the pissheads are the ones most injury prone. But if he gives us everything from now on maybe i'll start to see him in a new light, i'm way past holding my breath with him now though as won't surprise me at all if he gets into more off the pitch scandal or gets injured soon. Nice to hear he might be growing up but way beyond caring, he has to do the business on the field thats all that matters, also he's gone a little bit quite on the pitch over the last few games imo.

    David Edgar

Conspiracy theories aside and maybe i am indeed missing something, but i put Edgars exclusion simply down to Roeder's incompetance personally. His display agaist Man u was incredible really, West ham v good again and he only had 1 shocker against Brum (along with the rest of the team) and is dropped! Hunty's terrible there, out of position too. Baba's so so but never fit. Other than Edgar the only choice is Duff if we really need to go at a team.

    Gooch

As already mentioned play him and Taylor Edgar and Nobby as often as possible. Not Shambles or Car!!
  4. I've given Roeder up to the AK game, but i've absolutely no faith in him what so ever now. Last season's miraculous recovery was more due to Shearer than to Glenn imo. Take Shearer away this season and surprise surprise a horrendous start and a very poor season. Glenn's team selections have been very poor and undoubtably cost us games. The team do not look motivated to me his tactics also leave alot to be desired (i.e. Holland). Look what Keane's done to Sunderland, completely turned them around and Shearer could do that here imo. Its definately worth the gamble. If Shearer doesn't fancy it then we have to attract the best manager posible. Guss Hindink name has been mentioned and quite rightly too as he's a top manager imo.

    Sibierski

Agree 100%! Dyer up top just behind Martins is our best pairing up top. Le Sib is very ineffective, baggage really.
  6. To single out martins is very harsh on the lad. We didn't carve out the openings for him. The blame should be laid at Roeders feet s his tactics were way off. We should have gone there to score goals not try and defend we invited them on to us then bottled it. If your looking for a player to blame then you can't look much further than Bramble, he played them onside for the first goal when all the other defnders stepped up to play them offside leaving us open. He lost his man for their second goal, who went on to score. Should have given a penatly away, should have been sent off, passing was diobolical as usual as was decision making etc. This man could make John Terry look bad alongside him.

    Roeder Out

ROEDER OUT! SHEARER IN! SHAMBLES CAR AND LUQUE OUT! CLASS LB AND CB IN! TEAM GIVEN NOBBY TAYLOR GOOCH EDGAR MILNER PARKER EMRE DUFF DYER MARTINS
  8. Absolute bollocks ! Bramble cost us both he goals, so stop trying to find another scapegoat to divert blame. For the first goal Shambles played them onside when the other defenders had all stepped up to play them offside. For the second goal Shambles lost his man and he scored with a header (god only knows how many times we've seen Shambles do that).

    Martins' Worth?

    We can't let him go.
  10. Taylor was worse..... You must be selectively blind then. Taylor elbow was bad, yes he coud have been sent off, plus he lost his man once which could have proved costly but he managed to block. Bramble was at fault for BOTH goals (first one he played them onside, second one he lost his man for the header) nearly gave away a debated penalty, his tackle he was yellow carded for was horrofic and worse than Taylors elbow. His passing was abysmal as usual and he lost his man countless times. How on earth was he worse than Taylor? Bramble should have been booted out years ago.
  11. How many chances did we carve out for Martins?? one? He led the line and was as frustrated as we were not getting chances. We should have attacked them from the start with: Given Nobby Taylor Hunty Edgar Milner Parker Emre Duff/Zoggy Dyer Martins Not defended as we are at our worse then.

    Emre

Milner and Emre should have started our tactics were shite, Roeder out!!

    Huntington

Edgar was awesome v man u when played there he deserves another shot there. Failing that play duff there and then put Zoggy LW. Hunty is no LB!!
  14. We have better players they have a better manager. Roeder got it wrong tactically, if we went over and attacked to get a goal from the off it would have been a better game and we would have had a better chance. I've always said that Roeder deserves a little more time but now we should get a really good manager in ASAP for next season.

    Emre

Emre was one of our few positive players tonight. Roeder and shambles (again) are most to blame.
  16. Bramble was at fault for first goal (played them onside) and second goal (lost his man) made a shocking tackle very red worthy and basically had another complete mare. Yet its Taylor you want out? Are you trying to deflect blame or what?
  17. I think you've got it spot on here pretty much what i had in mind. I dislike Bramble and Car so woulden't play them (ever) but realise in regard to Bramble i'm in the minority for this game.
  18. He's better either as RW or in a free role just behind the main striker. Definately not a Central Midfielder imo. His big strength is pace and thats best used up top or on the wing.
  19. Most sensible suggestion i've heard in a while.
  20. We should have got rid years ago imo I've never known one player to cost us so many games/points through individual errors. Horendous start to the season and Fulham at home springs straight to mind amongst others, he cost us both goals and the game. I agree he has all the physical attributes but think he lacks some of the all important mental attributes, i saw a few unforced errors last night that he got away with, he did pull off a woody style goal saving tackle and on the whole played quite well (for him), thought . He's after a new contact once he's signed up he'll be back to old Titus again.
  21. The best attacking LB in the world (Maldini being the best defensive LB) over the last 10+ years imo, not as good as he was, going down hill now, but still bloody good, i'd take him for a couple of seasons here 100% definately (on loan would be great). He could make a huge huge difference to us and have us chalenging for the top 4. But in saying that i doubt very much he'd come here as more fashionable clubs with money to burn will no doubt be scrambling for his signature. He'd be offered outrageously high wages somewhere. But if we could get him he could attract other Brazilians etc.
  22. First half we were incredible! Second half tried to kill the game/ hit them on the break. Martins MOM but many good performances. Wasn't a penalty as ball to hand. Brilliant tackle by parker, i noticed that when given saved the pen (which was weak as piss) we didn't have enough people following in looking for the rebound. they had three/four players run in to our two so very disapointed with that, but overall delighted.

    Makelele

Good player no doubts but not what we need really unless we are offloading Butt or Parker.
