We've definitely had a lot worse than Pardew: Alladyce, Gullit, Souness, Roeder etc were all terrible for us and Daglish really dragged us down too. So i wouldn't sack him unless we were 100% sure we had a very good replacement lined up which i really doubt we have Hughton was brilliant for us considering the circumstances and i disagreed with his sacking then and now. Norwich finished above us last season with far inferior players which says it all really. I do wonder what Hughton could do with our lot now and i am sure he'd be better than Pardew.

For Hull and Everton our team should have been: Krul Debuchy Mbiwa Colo Santon Anita Sissoko Cabaye HBA Remy Gouffran This is not just in hindsight most of us wanted this before the games. Why Pardew decided upon what he did really does baffle most of us. The team above i feel would have stood far more of a chance. We have now lost both our momentum and confidence that we had built up which really is a big thing in football. Well done Pardew !!

Swap Cabaye and Sissoko around and that's what I'd go with. 100% agree

Krul Debuchy MYM Colo Santon Sissoko Anita HBA Cabaye Remy Gouffy HBA, Remy and Gouffy are all really impressing at the moment as has Sissoko in the midfield. Cabaye is a good player but hasn't looked all that good thus far in the games he's played in i'd consider trying marveaux in his position. Bar City and Hull the defence has done reasonably well however the concern is we do seem to look little vulnerable in the air. I'd be happy with a point from this one but stranger things have happened so who knows we could nick a win. like Hull did.

At first I was unimpressed when we ended with Goofy as a winger instead of Remy but really quite like Goofy now in between Remy and HBA. He's wasted out wide. I went to the Vila game and was really impressed with him when he came on. He caused villa big problems with his size, speed, control, ability to hold the ball up and impressive work rate. Excellent game he was my MOM after HBA. Really was a complete all action player in the center of Midfield breaking their attacks down and starting new ones for us. Really was awesome at the heart of our team. Far better than Cabaye on Saturday for me.

Can't really argue with this post at all as it is very true and sensible. Cisse has been poor it is a big concern but yes one goal could suddenly make a huge difference to him and we are playing well as a team and won our last two and not lost in four. But yes would be very interesting to see Gouff up there to see if he's better than Cisse. I really think he could be so i would try it. He is more of a physical presence, more aggressive and quicker too and seems to know where the back of the net is and Cisse for all his running just can't seem to hit a barn door at the moment. I was dreaming of Mike Ashley going on a bender geting completey wankered and getting Benteke in Jan for 30 to 40 million. Remy Benteke HBA. Never going to happen i know don't tell me. He had one chance on saturday and scored it and they created nothing for him but what a top notch player he held it up so well and is exactly the type of player we need. Remy Ba HBA would also be awesome and i haven't completely given up on that for Jan. If Cisse hasn't kicked into gear by Jan we may well have to consider selling him. Bit early to say that we definitely should now though.

Looks about right to me although Pards will probably go 442. Benteke's all round brilliance and especially his physicality is a worry against our smallest CB's. But then again so is Taylor's baffoon ish play though and Wilo's lack of pace. But three consecutive clean sheets means we should stick with the defence from Fulham. Still not 100% sure if it should be Anita or Tiote. Yes if we can get a good foothold in the midfield those front three could really do some damage. Just hope Pardew plays HBA and Remy. Cisse will hopefully find his shooting boots at last in this game and should get more opportunities with HBA and Remy on the pitch. Sissoko and Cabaye look a very decent pairing in the center too.

Remy Cisse HBA - looks really decent until one of these are injured like now as subs are Sammy and errr Shola. Who are pretty much ineffective against a half decent premiership side. Sissoko Tiote Marveaux - not 100% convinced on Marveaux. He has moments when he's brilliant then goes missing. Stil has it all to prove although je has got the talent he just sometimes doesn't use it to any effect. subs Anita/bigi Gosling assuming cabaye goes. If we could get a really creative player like Thauvin for example. Could then go; Cisse Thauvin Remy HBA Sissoko Tiote Trying to lump it up to Cisse or Shola most of the time will get us relegated. Should have got Carroll back if that's the plan.

Leave HBA on though Alan FFS!! You are allowed more than one creative player on at any one time !! Not sure who's better out of Tiote and Anita but Anita at least deserves a chance. JK you need to sign someone good FFS before this game!! Preferably Thauvin !! Massive game for Pardew if he loses this and then the next one could be out of a Job. Although he won't walk without a massive pay off of course and not sure who would be crazy enough to come in and work for The Joker. Missed the grit and passion we had with Hughton, Carroll, Nolan and really missed the solid as a rock Enrique too. Cisse just wasn't even close to being a threat at all last night. Carroll at least was always a threat aerially and the thought of HBA, Remy, Marveaux, Sissoko, Santon etc supplying, supporting him and playing off him......

Between now and the end of the transfer window Cabaye will probably go but will be for a lot more than £10m. Tiote Sissoko HBA Marveaux Remy Cisse The above would be still decent its just when there are injuries to those front three we are really screwed. Gouffran still has a lot to prove and after him its the bloody Ameobi's. We desperately need a player like Thauvin in to give us that extra spark and to make runs forward reliving pressure. JK has failed in his job for not bringing that type of player in.

He certainly seems to play much better centrally whenever i've seen him. I'd like to see him given his chance centrally but Cabaye and Sissoko are just ahead of him in the pecking order at the moment. If Cabaye does go then he's a definite starter for me in a 433.

Horrendously infuriating and stressful to watch. Attack really is the best form of defence sometimes in football we certainly need to offer more in this department. Thats why JK has failed miserably by not geting a Thauvin or Sinclair or similar player in. HBA can't do it on his own. Marveaux ? I rate Marveaux when he plays centrally but when he plays out wide he's not been very good for us at all really. Think Pardew will probably have him on the bench tonight We need a creative option on our right hand side. Remy fits the bill if we play 433 but Pardew looks like he'll play him just behind Cisse. HBA Cisse Remy - Looks great to me but Remy's out injured now for several games, HBA has a poor record injury wise and as much as i love him as a player it would not be hugely surprising to see him limp off again at some point tonight. That would reduce us to Marveaux Cisse Gouffran which worries me creativity wise. I've not 100% made my mind up on Gouffran yet. He looks ok but think we need a Thauvin or Sinclair type as an option.

FFS sake this is disastrous !! Take your fingers out of your arses and sign Thauvin or if not Sinclair NOW !!!! You absolute useless bunch of c**** !!!!! We can't just rely on HBA creating from the RW !! Its too easy to block off one side/one player. We need some sort of creativity from the left too !! If HBA gets injured this season which is very plausible given his track record thus far then we are really struggling unnecessarily yet again ...unless we sign one of the above. Agreed ! Remy and Thauvin i'd be happy with. Would give us all a much needed lift signing someone young exciting quick and skilful like Thauvin ! At the moment our only two really creative players from out wide will be HBA and Remy. If one of those are injured then we are really going to struggle to create anything yet AGAIN this season ! If not Thauvin then Scott Sinclair for £6m or similar player would be a very decent signing for us. Can't see us paying his £60k a week wages though. Just watched Thauvin again on youtube looks like a hell of a prospect ! F*ck it spunk the lot all £20m on Thauvin Joe !!! Just get him here !!!

Everyone is expecting us to lose this one. They have been leaking goals pre season, they have a manager who is not used to the premiership, so we should just go for them from the off. It may prove a good time to play them. Without Remy or Gomis we surely can't go two up top when we have the wealth of midfielders that we do. At the very least the team below should be able to create some goal scoring opportunities. No point having two strikers if they have next to no opportunities. Cabaye should be up for this one. Thank god we got him in. We have a ray of hope now of having a decent season. Tiote Sissoko or HBA Tiote Cabaye Sissoko Cabaye Remy HBA Remy Cisse Cisse This line up seems to have the right balance of Energy, Speed, skill creativity, grit and goals if Cisse can start banging them in again. If Cabaye does go Marveaux is the perfect replacement and Jonas in for Tiote if he's not up to it. Jonas in a defensive midfield spot is underrated but agree he looks spent as an attacking player. Anita and Bigi mean we are well covered in midfield. Could still do with some strength in depth up front/on the wings from still as if Cisse struggles again and/or HBA or Remy get injured/sent down we are really struggling after Gouffran. A young quick up and coming winger maybe ? Really not sure that even if we sign Gomis he would form a partnership with Cisse as they seem too similar.

I'd be over the moon with Remy and someone else quick like Sinclair or Tom Ince

and obviously that is worst case scenarios where we are missing 6 of a front 6. It would actually be quite hard to work out the first choice from them all. Remy Cisse Ben Arfa Marveaux Sissoko Cabaye would be nice to have options though! I'd really like to see us try this very creative formation and line up. Please sign Remy. It's such an absolutely pivotal signing for us. Quite optomistic about next season IF we can bring him in. Still think there is still a good chance Cabaye will be sold. He's a quality player but not all that mobile at times and runs out of steam. Remy Cisse Ben Arfa Marveaux Sissoko Tiote/Jonas Should Cabaye be sold. If Cisse starts banging them in again, HBA regains form and we are fortunate with injuries we could have a really good season with the above team and formation. Not 442 please Pardew.
