This, but the lad looks so self conscious and bereft of confidence as well. I can't see any fight in his eyes, he just looks sad and unsure all the time.

Welcome -
This lad looks so special. I looked at this clip and thought Gascoigne, Beardsley, and the next two posts after said the same. He could do a job for us in the PL next season. You just don't go to League Two and dance around seasoned pros who'd love nothing more than to clatter a young PL loanee to the ground. This is the loan that's meant to ground him and show him the true hard physicality of grown-up, men's football. And he's literally taking the piss out of everyone.
-
I think that move in the box has meant he's played himself out of starting. You just can't take those risks to rely on decisions like that. He'll come good and be an absolute lynch-pin for us in time, but he needs to get street-wise to the PL fast.
-
It's wonderful to have a fan from another club speak so openly and articulately on one of our young lads out on loan. I'm curious how our loanees get on, we don't seem tend to send too many out, and it's honestly an honor to have someone like yourself putting your time in on this forum for another set of fans, just to let us know how he's getting on. Thank you, kind sir, wishing you the best of luck in your promotion push.

I don't think ASM is unpredictable though, maybe in when he's going to elect to pass, sure. But his strength and technique takes him past players, not unorthodox/unpredictable play. An unpredictable player for me was Lua Lua

Kieran Skippier

Just waiting in dread for the tone-deaf puns

Ticks the homegrown-at-club box, not many of ours do, and is happy to be a squad player who Howe & co seemingly like. No argument from me.
-
But he has, quite badly?
-
Thought he was the poorest player on the pitch for us alongside Wood.
-
Huge, huge upgrade. Lascelles isn't a footballer, been stealing a living for years now. Our left hand side is a complete shut-out now with Targett.
-
That's just another way of saying drop Fraser for Willock, and that's the wrong call right now in my opinion.
-
To be fair, that's 2 of their front 3. I can just see Shelvey and Willock chasing Shadows and without Trippier's guidance, they'll huff and puff for 15 minutes then it'll be backs-to-the-wall stuff again :/

We really need Bruno to play. West Ham's central midfield is one of the best in the league's in my opinion - I really rate Soucek. I can see Rice & Soucek running rings around anyone else we put there. Throwing Bruno in against West Ham is probably not a bad idea from the point of view in that we're really not expecting to get anything out of the game so the pressure will be lessened.

Mourinho would be nothing short of an absolute disaster. Enjoy the Howe ride while it lasts, and long may it continue.

Mbappe on a free and Haaland for ~€68m. Sounds good to me
-
It's blatantly not, though. Favourite, sure.
-
Raphinha on the other side to ASM would be a joy

For those without instagram ?

He's already talked about how it would be easier to play with Mbappe etc., which is why I suggested PSG. They tick the boxes - money, player interest, home country, Champions League. No way the club would willingly sell, but I don't buy it that he's 100% tied to this club. He's my favourite player, but he carries on playing like this, the top clubs aren't going to ignore him for too much longer. Crikey, imagine that front line of Messi and St Maxi with Neymar, would be like 8 passes (all key passes), and 50+ dribble attempts per game between them lol. I really hope he stays to see this out - but to do that we're going to have to bring in more like Bruno in the summer imo.

I really wish I couldn't remember this fking theme tune, someone please give me a different HOWE song lol

Perfect - thank you!
