Muto wasn't cheap. Looked decent to me most times he played, to be honest.

Aye, this one: https://www.flightradar24.com/GLF5/2489d389 Gonna check it again in a while and see where it's going. I'm watching it like a hawk. Literally can't take my eyes of it. Changed my computer monitors to dual screen. That's not how we watch things. Generally we're a lot further away from our target than you are.

Pop them on 4chan with a link for us please

Yep. Definitely not getting ahead of yourself there. If this doesn't come off, I'm f***ing off into e-hiding given the sheer amount of s*** NUFC fans will get on every single online platform going. This is the positive-optimism thread, so I have the right to be optimist in this thread. Wonder if they can throw in VvD and Mane too? Lets not getting ahead of ourselves here, ok Unintentionally the funniest post I've read in a long while

What are fans of other football clubs talking about on their forums? At least we have the takeover to discuss. Everton fans are talking about our takeover a lot and, my word, they absolutely fucking hate us. If it goes through then, with the Mackems out of the picture, we have a new enemy. In fact their board members on Grand Old Team are uncannily similar to those on RTG. Bitter doesnt even come close. Fits perfectly imo, they're the Sunderland of Merseyside. Will never be as big or successful as the other club there. Attracts a certain sort of fan.

Fck me, the lockdown has really diluted the gene pool on this forum

I'd place a smaller wager that there are a few are. Not everyone is a level-headed, rational person who wouldn't latch on to anything to drum up support for a good societal lynching. Mr Keys would be first on my list
-
And your source is? Upper echelons of the club. There's only Lee..
-
So what's your head saying, then?
-
Completely unsurprised, his cartoons for the past few years have been 80% politically driven and 20% football.
-
His face looks like it was slowly trying to become a caricature of Colm Meaney, then it just went too far and thought 'fuck it, in for a penny'.
-
In fairness to Keys (yeah, I know) he just seems to have beef with Saudi Arabia full stop, mainly as he accuses them of stealing and showing BeIN sports streams. I really can't fault much of what he's saying there, at all to be honest. I think he's choosing his words carefully for once.

Support the team, not the regime pal, worked for the 'pro-Ashley' brigade at least

I get the sentiment, I'm in a similar camp to you, but I don't think you quite understand what Stockholm syndrome is
-
Just read it all. Just adds some small details onto the anecdotes really, nothing groundbreaking. Laughed at the thought of Ashley bringing his sandwiches in a shopping bag to meet Shearer at the training ground though

Same behaviour for me for Sky Fibre. The company I work for is also a corporate ISP and I couldn't get through to NO on that either till just now.

Speak for yourself you sensitive little snowflake
-
Coutinho is my guess Thats probably a good guess, James Rodriguez is another possible Lol, it'll be Danny Ings and we'd better fucking like it.

If you're going to sell your soul to the devil, best get something in return, mind. At least the Saudis seem to be offering something

Having just finished the Will Grigg episode, this is great

Maybe a new opportunity here lads : Step 1. Write a lovely piece of fan mail to dear old Mike, saying how much you love him and hand-write everything to increase chances of it getting read by someone close to him Step 2. Cough on it a lot accidentally Step 3. Post it to his home address

Dalglish signed him during his 18-month demolition job. Hamann had talent but the post-Keegan come down was just too depressing in and of itself to get excited about any player. I remember Hamann as being instantly recognisable as a midfielder that was much, much better than what we were used to. He looked out of place in our team he was that good, and not far after the Keegan era too. One of the best central midfielders I've seen in black+white. Goals wise, Albert vs Man U. Back then, Man U did not lose 5-0. They could not, it was impossible. They were arrogant, self-important and it was just so, so sweet. The audacity, the completing of an absolute piss-take of the best team in the country. To see Schmeichael visibly give up. After that Charity Shield result. The fact we could still win the league. There was so much to it. That goal was the dribbling of your spit in the slowest, most disrespectful way on the corpse of a bully you'd stood up to finally after getting beat on year after year. It rounded off a massive 'fuck you' to the biggest club and one of the best teams in the world.

That's why Mike hired Kinnear as DoF, to distance himself. Then Kinnear fucked up (well, did about as well as anyone thought he would do), and was sacked shortly afterwards. In the present day, it's hard to imagine Ashley not being involved in individual deals. Back then, for that period, it was different. Yes. During that period he was prepared to trust the football experts. This made me smile for several reasons
