Oh aye, he's Jose Mourinho until he gets a slightly more senior job title, then he becomes a lobotomy patient. Bit hyperbolic that, like.

Has he ever been a bad Assistant? From the point of view of the managers he's worked with? He's just the worst manager in the world, ever.

His subsequently broken, fetid re-animated carcass would still get more minutes on the pitch over a season than De Jong.
  4. Doubt Janmaat will be here next year, and I'm worried about Ayoze too tbh.

Probably deserves his own thread now, looking nailed on to sign for us. I think it's a very good signing if it comes off.

    Steve McClaren

Probably been practising his Geordie accent all holiday and now won't get to do it. How you say, why eye.. man?

The biggest job Shupa-Mac has had since England, he's got a point to prove, could be his swan song. I'm desperate to like my club again.

I'd rather place money on whether his accent changes to French or Geordie.

Well, we're definitely not going to shown twice s much as Villa or Leicester this season. Absolute horse shite to watch, maybe it's the car-crash telly thing that gets the viewers cause I'm stumped.
  10. I've said before (in this thread, I think), that there's probably a stadium advertising deal with SD at one pound a year for 99 years. £1 a year for 99 years. I'll dig into my pocket to pay that one off early. Exactly, why do people just not understand the basics of contracts

    FIFA World Cup

Right, we're not saying that every location has to be perfect in every way. Just as long as it isn't a tiny state AND has a record of horrific human rights abuses AND has no footballing tradition whatsoever AND is a billion degrees in the summer. And where it's illegal to effectively exist for approximately 10% of the population of the world

  13. Klopp's never going to West Ham. I bet he ends up at City or Liverpool. Aye Why are people even suggesting West Ham could get Klopp TalkSport were pushing that agenda for the last few weeks.
  14. When he firtst cvame he did spend, barton, smith, coloccini, I'd like to see us spend on players to benefit the team (buy some players at their value rather than just a "we can sell them for more" attitude). What's your alternative beyond sell us to a sheikh ? He signed Coloccini in the same summer he sold Milner and signed Xisco/Nacho. Fancy trying again, do another post that adds up? It's quite easy to debate he had nothing to do whatsoever with the names but just supplied the funds when necessary at a time when he misplaced his trust in some absolute cretins.
  15. I give up, some people are so dense
  16. You're a 'f***cking tool' for not entertaining the significance of Mike Ashley doing a media interview with Sky Sports, regardless of what was said.
  17. Why does the thread title say he's sacked when he hasn't been? Not renewing a contract and being sacked are two different things.
  18. How can you sack that, which has no contract?
  19. Well, he's self-admittedly completely clueless about football and running a football club. For him to want to defer to people who should know better is not that bad. The problem is he hasn't surrounded him with a host of good football people.
  20. You don't for one moment give any of the s*** he spouted credence, please tell me you don't... I know better than most the history Mike Ashley has with this club having written an article for themag.co.uk about how he has completely taken us to the cleaners. What cannot be denied is that: a) He's emotional and is easily persuaded by those around him that he trusts b) He cares more for his brand (SD) than he does for the club c) Initially he wanted to do it the 'right' way - bring in Keegan, bring in Shearer, spend some money d) After the relegation following the tribunal findings, he's had it in for the club and the fans and has milked us for every penny He has NEVER come out and spoken to the fans directly, this is a change in approach and character. What I said was that this COULD be an indication in change of his overall approach to the running of this club, or simply a new tactic to string people along further. People shouldn't disregard this interview out of hand, it's completely unprecedented by Mike Ashley's standards and it's new ground we're on now, where he's actually opened a dialogue with the fans directly via the media. So either he's decided we've 'served our punishment' post-Keegangate tribunal, or that the old cloak and dagger is not working as the AO.com is gaining more support than the dimwits who lap up the Sports Direct FC that has been servered up for the past 8 years and is changing his strategy of attack. I'd LIKEto think it's the former, nothing wrong with that.
