  1. Move this to NOFC if needed, but thought nobody reads it anymore. Just wanted to get rough number but my mate was asking me about a Sunderland VS Newcastle match. Date will be sorted when I have some rough numbers. For Bobby Robson Foundation ( Might keep it fair) Any ideas or help on how to arrange Charity stuff is welcome. 2. http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/alan-pardew-witch-hunt-reaches-new-ridiculous-level/ 6 hours ago by Jim Robertson I’m in no way the Newcastle manager’s biggest fan but the Alan Pardew Witch Hunt is continuing to reach increasingly ridiculous new levels. United’s Under 21s were in action at Whitley Bay on Monday night and a crowd of 877 at a ‘fresh’ coastal venue included John Carver, Adam Armstrong, Paul Dummett and…Alan Pardew. Senior coach/manager and a couple of younger first team squad players showing their support for our reserve team, what could possibly be so sinister about that… alan pardewWell, a number of media are this morning calling into question whether Alan Pardew should have been attending due to his ‘stadium ban’, then obviously taking it one step further as to whether he should get extra punishment for a possible ‘breach’ of the ban. Even though I knew from past experience it would be a pointless task, I went onto the FA’s official website to try and establish for sure what the wording of the rules are, as per usual their website is about as easy to understand as the endless strange decisions the FA make on an ongoing basis. However, surely common sense would tell you that there is very little personal gain for the manager from watching such a low key game and most definitely not what the seven match ban is intended to do. It is his involvement with the first team on an actual matchday that the ban is intended to interfere with. If the FA had wanted to make the penalty more severe they would have banned the manager from having anything to do with the coaching and preparation of the first team through the week, not him going to watch the kids on a chilly Monday night before heading down to sample the infamous Whitley Bay nightlife. This kind of nonsense deflects from the big problems with the manager and the team, such as why he has sat there saying nothing as Ashley has slashed the squad to the point where we have a few injuries and we struggle to even put a first eleven out, as happened at Fulham. Good for Pardew that he bothered to go and watch the kids, I just hope he picked up a few tips on finishing and creativity that he can pass on to his first team.
  3. Why did that style of play beat Chealski if its so bad? I have dicussed this with santoon in the pub loads but give me a 1-0 grinding win any day over a 4-3 win. I would be happy to score first and keep it in the corner for 80 min Think just going to leave the whole subject and bump this in a few years. If I am wrong I hold my hands up
  4. Given funds and wastes them - Who has he bought who are that bad? Other two points are true if you forget the time he got us 5th, won manager of the year and got us into Europe? I will always love him for giving me a chance to follow Newcastle in Europe and have the best away game of my life. Jesus wept. http://fcbordeaux.ru/Site_IMG/team/obertan7ki.jpg Probably your favourite player. No he signed my favorite player Yohan Cabaye. And all these Hatem Ben Arfa Demba Ba Davide Santon Papiss Demba Cissé Gael Bigirimana Vurnon Anita Mathieu Debuchy Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa Yoan Gouffran Moussa Sissoko Massadio Haidara Carr signed all of those players. Pardew has chosen the likes of Obertan and Elliot. Given his way we would have bought Tomkin's & Bent Do you have anything to back that up with? Carr finds players he does not sign them. Its Pards who decided if we should get them over the line? He also signed some really good players before this. Fonte Puncheon Lambert Like saying Sir Alex never signed Ronaldo.

  7. - I think saying we need Pardew back ASAP is more constructive than people saying they hop he dies and just as valid as Sack him. They are look on the last page “Another abysmal result delivered by this w*****.” He was not even in the ground. He set a team up that should win and it was poor again. And this “Clearly had no wish to win this match today” to say any manager that sets his team up with 2 strikers is not trying to win is stupid! Pardew is a very limited manager – I admit this unlike some people, who won’t accept any pro points about Pardew. But he has the passion that normally fans crave. Granted in past few months it has gone overboard and he is looking to fix this…Time will tell tho. Just as I accept I would like to see Ben Arfa play but would be happy to never see Marveaux play again as I have never been impressed by him. And this is the problem not everyone agrees on who is a good player. IMO Marveaux is only thought highly of cos we never see how bad he can be. Big issue as far as I can see is if you sack Pardew who will be in next? I am prepared to bet someone worse so be careful what you ask for. Some of the abuse on here is just OTT. I am extremely happy to admit I was wrong next year if he is given funds and does nothing. Pardew tactics beat the best manager in the country so showed that if you work to that we should be able to beat the best.
  8. If I am every there we can go ice skating while discussing Pardew...or is that to stereotypical it expect all Canadians to ice skate?
  9. If you live in Newcastle come out and meet me with the rest of the people form here and see if you still think that. Why do I need to lie to try and get a reaction from DJ NUFC got no idea who you are

  11. Its not just me Brett supports him So I am stupid because I think its better to have your manager (No matter who he is) in the dugout? Think people need to look at the players for this result. Pards can't get a break. He went with two up front and all through the game the commentary was about how refreshing it is to see a team with two up front go for the win. We beat Chealski using the same system so why cant the players perform? We lose and he gets the blame. He has done an amazing job taking the pressure off the players because everyone blames him when its got a lot to do with them. I asked Neesy when out were do you expect us to finish at the start for the season and he 8th...so Pardew has them on track to where most people thought we would end up. He has had no investment so next year if he gets the cash is the time to judge. *Also be nice if the Admin that mutes me when I post pro Pardew stuff pop me a PM to explain why
  12. Yeah and my kink is winning football games. That must make Pardew master! and i am happy to be his slave. We need him back ASAP!
  13. Need him in the dugout. This game really goes to show how much we need him. His passion rubs off on the players...Lets hope hearing his voice on the phone will be just as good.
  14. Nice to see him making an effort to improve his anger after this. Just dont take the passion away from our Pards

  16. It was a decent game plan against a superior side. We were very, very unlucky over the course of the tie. Pardew's had some terrible games but that wasn't one of them.
  17. Know how they say you should not meet your hero. He is not my hero but least it confirmed he is a nice guy as I thought. "Finally, a lot has been said about our manager in the last week, but Alan Pardew came across as being a credit to our football club. From the moment we arrived he made us feel very welcome, taking the time to come and talk to us during training and even sending someone to get us Newcastle training coats because he said we would be too cold!" Don't think Rooney would do that
  18. Nice to see him getting some credit "Finally, a lot has been said about our manager in the last week, but Alan Pardew came across as being a credit to our football club. From the moment we arrived he made us feel very welcome, taking the time to come and talk to us during training and even sending someone to get us Newcastle training coats because he said we would be too cold! But most importantly he definitely has the respect of the players, speaking to each individually during the practice match about their role at the weekend, and listening to the tactics he shouted to the players convinced me that he certainly does know what he’s doing! I really enjoyed my morning at the training ground and left feeling happy that whilst the media may talk of a crisis at Newcastle, there is no problem with what matters- the team. "The point you make about going back with somebody is dangerously close to saying people deserve what they get. At it's worst it's a case of someone exercising poor judgement due to alcohol impairing their reason. The idea that it's somehow a form of consent is both dangerous and grotesque. " Fair enough this is about Ranger not rape so best defuse it. Not saying anyone deserves it. What I am saying is it smacks to me of someone who had drunk fling and then cried rape. I am saying that In my opinion and from quotes I seen she knew Ranger would be trying to have sex with her so why go there? Why meet him ? But no obviously should never happen. like I said no matter how drunk I am if some guy who has been trying to have sex with me asks me to come back to a hotel with him I would never. He will get locked up for somthing else soon so if he really did then Karma and all that will sort it out. Ronaldo I have turned over a new leaf. Well after this has finished becasuse I should have kept out of this
  22. Been in Rio before Greg? For me hands down the most beautiful city in the world. When you stand at the Arpoador looking over the Ipanema and Leblon beach you see what Rio is really about. I've never been to Brasil. I only have 2 days in Rio! Looks like thaey have plenty unfinished buildings from that video

Was cleared ages ago. So he has been found not to have raped her...but she walks away free and gets to live her life. Were as no matter what mud sticks and people will alway judge him now. Fair enough he is a knob but how many people are being accused only to be found innocent. Its sick that a woman can have sex feel bad then just accuse somone of rape. Anonymity is counter-productive, unfair and discriminatory. What has happened is that people couldn't be sure if he raped her. Not really the same is it as being found not to have raped her? You don't seem to have Judged him despite the accusation. Go figure. Did you follow the case or just saying that becasue of the result? After reading the evidence to me it seemed obvious he did not rape her. He had made it obvious to her he wanted to have sex with her and she still kept hanging around him. I know what you are saying but to me her evidence was very flawed. Her defence was that she was drunk and could not consent. Sorry but you don’t go out clubbing with someone then they get a taxi with you to a hotel and you don’t know what is going on. If we use that defence most the sex happening in Newcastle on a weekend is rape. All this shit about I was to drunk is seriously BS. I have used the I was drunk excuse before. But no matter how drunk I was if some guy said right we are going to a hotel lets go I would never just go with him and have sex. As for the not judging him because he has been accused of rape…to be fair most people that read the papers are stupid and think no smoke without fire.
