He made alot of mistakes in the past.Mistakes that cost this club alot.His mistakes transformed this club from top 4 team to mid table team atm.His mistakes still stands. Especially the one where he mentioned that the team spirit must be high and without it you cant achieve anything Also that everybody at nufc must be like one big family all working for the best of nufc This man knows what he is doing and im sure that his influence with the team and the club will be immediate. 1.He didnt give money to Roeder in January 2.He sacked Roeder in the perfect time 3.He bring the right man into the club 4.He appointed the right man in the perfect time 5.He supports the new manager 100%???We will have to wait to see about that.I hope Shepherd will stand behind him 100% and give him full control over the club and also to give him solid transfer kitty for the summer.

Im not on his back im just pointing what the current situation is. I dont know if its 100% true but if it is then both Owen and Martins dont want to play for us. Got season ticket in 1973. Gave it up in 1976 as I started working away and was sometimes out of the country, until 1988, but during those years saw about 10 home games and 10 away games at a guess. Bought season ticket back in 1989 when my life stabalised again, and have kept it ever since. Don't miss too many home games through work or whatever, I've missed the odd cup game this season through living outside of Newcastle these days like you do , nor go to as many away games as I did before I got married, had family etc etc, but I'm renewing next season. Even when we had a s*** board at the end of the 80's I renewed, and travelled up home from all over the country .... Who asked what you did in 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s?
