Massive week in the transfer window now, that win was huge but we need to set ourselves up properly now for the rest of the season with some new signings.

We're definitely losing that game. Terrible idea to make this team play football infront of people out there.

That side would never have went down under normal circumstances. We'd Joe Kinnear for most of the season then Shearer with absolutely no experience. Howe would have easily kept that squad up. This team is a whole new level, its probably our worst ever top flight squad.

It’s more about how a poor Norwich team wiped the floor with Watford away from home and we couldn’t beat them at SJP. Im still in support of Howe but I’m started to get worried with recent performances.

Not gonna lie the Norwich win tonight has pissed me right off after our pathetic performance last week. I’ve kind of given up and accepted relegation but if we keep losing and drawing against utter dross with shit performances for the rest of the season I’ll want him binned off for the Championship tbh.

I don't think we can do enough in January to turn this team from 1 win in 20 to 8 in 18. The team is so monumentally poor all over the pitch, we'd need a CB and two CMs to have half a chance imo. Our midfield and defence is absolutely woeful beyond belief, its nowhere near PL standard and what we're seeing now was coming for years with this squad. Can a few signings turn things around? I hope so but we'll still be going into some of those fixtures with the likes of Shelvey, Ritchie, Lascelles etc from our Championship team playing. We really need a draw tonight.

I'm not so sure on what they could do legally. I mean, they themselves just a few months ago approved the deal. If they change the rules would they actually try and stop teams from being promoted? I think anything that came in before the rules will be fine and it'll be deals that happen after the change that will fail. The PL trying to stop us getting promoted would be an incredible move and one I'm sure that would get laughed out of court, I really can't see it happening. Unless you mean other changes that could pass while we don't have a seat at the table, although I think they'd pass anyway because its us and maybe only City and Chelsea who'd be against them.

A new cb isn’t going to count for much with this donkey beside him making mistakes all over the shop.

If we can’t win away to Leeds next weekend it’ll be 1 win well into February.

We couldn’t beat two of those teams at home. Plus they’re playing each other before we play again so some of them are gaining points. If Watford win both games we may as well sit the rest of the season out.

You genuinely think there’s only a 30% chance that we go down? We’ve won 1 game on 20 so far this season, we’ve relegation written all over us. Even if we get a cb and a cm there will still be holes all over our starting 11.

I thought I'd want Howe even if we go down but if this continues for another month or two there's no chance he'll see the end of the season, and probably rightly so too.

If we go down he could be massive for us next year. Keep him and Wilson and we should have plenty of goals.

Probably wouldn't have replaced him by now.

Watford playing Burnley and Norwich before we get turned over at Leeds. We're gonna be adrift this time next week.

I feel like if we bought two centre backs we'd end up with a back 5 so he could squeeze Lascelles in.

When we scored it just stunk of life under previous managers. It was almost like we were content to protect our lead and see the game out. Watford created chance after chance and around the 80 minute mark I told one of my mates that these are definitely going to score. Our shit defence can't sit back and let a side create chances because one of them will go in. We were playing Watford and for a while after we scored they looked rattled, we should have grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and scored a second. I've defended Howe and his team in recent weeks but today they've had a shocker.

There was a moment around 60 minutes when the side completely lost their shape and were making mistakes everywhere, it went on for the rest of the game. Just before Murphy came on I was wondering where the direction was from the bench to try and stop the rot but there was nothing.

Of course we'll come back. Easily back at the first attempt.

If this team stays up the league needs a revamp because this team is fucking dog shit. Can we even improve it that much in this window? We need a whole new defence and midfield. 1 CB and 1 CM won't plug the gapping holes in this side.
