Absolutely ridiculous letting a player play as he feels he can do so and over-ruling medical advice - WTF man
Pretty much. -
Sometimes AI is pure shite.

Would rather keep him and not spend my time mentally bargaining about which other clubs he might go to.
Stuff like this amongst our fans is where the whole small time thing applies imo.
For me personally, I don’t mind talking about it, hypocritically, it’s a forum. I don’t lose any sleep over it and not worried in the slightest. Whatever happens happens when it actually does. Having said that, I love the man both as a person and as a player. He absolutely loves it here, but I both think he will and should leave in the summer. That’s thinking career wise, purely. Would be different if he was say 23-24. This summer is the perfect time for him to do so. If he does he will do so with a heavy heart. But also fully deserves it to fulfil his potential and career. -
Would rather give him away to City than sell him for 100m to Liverpool or ManU or Arteta. And I wouldn’t like to see him going to city at all, not 1%.

That was my thoughts too, but thought his ability on the ball was good yesterday, suprised me
Not saying he is Rodri or Bruno G with the ball, but he showed some ability
He was hardly pressed at all and mostly had quite a bit of time and space. Seen him so many times and he his press resistance just isn’t good enough imo. If we want to go to the next level we need players better on the ball . It would allow us to “rest” from our intensity at times as well as control games better. Often when we are pushed back and defend deeply we struggle to get a grip of possession again and the attacks often come wave after wave. I know we have injuries but even before it has been one of our weaker points as a team. -
Not good enough on the ball imo. He’s not quick/technical enough when there’s little space/time. If we want to evolve we need players that are proper quality on the ball. He’s good defensively and physically but that only gets you so far. Do not want. Especially for the price he would cost.

It’s tiresome.

Luciano Rodriguez (then loan him out)

What does the English media and “experts” say about his performance last night? Very good overall I’d imagine?

Bruno is easily a better player than Isak overall. Isak’s ceiling is unlimited. But like I’ve always said, he is inconsistent and always has been. He’s very up and down and that is what is keeping him away from being proper proper world class at the biggest stage on a regular basis. Like many over here say, he is so so talented and good at times tans despite admitting he has done very well he can/should be even better overall. That’s how talented he is. Injuries haven’t helped of course, but it’s mostly mentality that is “holding him back” from what he can truly be. Having said that, strikers might be more difficult to replace. We won’t see Bruno’s real level until he plays for a side like City for example. That is when he will take that last step and everyone will be even more in awe.

Great to see him starting.

As some of you know, I’m relatively well connected to Sven and his family… they didn’t see this coming at all. All scans in recent months have shown no need for surgery. He had one in Holland around 3 weeks ago that showed no damage and no need for surgery. Obviously the way he landed on Saturday has caused something significant to change, though.
And for those saying the medical staff and manager are to blame… well you’re fundamentally 100% incorrect, but you do you. Sven has seen multiple specialists both in the UK and the Netherlands, and has been reassured from every meeting until this point that surgery wasn't necessary.
So if you’re desperate to blame someone, blame the specialists for not promoting the idea of surgery. It has had absolutely nothing to do with Howe and his team.
Cheers John Connor. -

Totally (trying) unbiased here but I think he should move on if he gets the right opportunity. He would be foolish not to. Career wise at least.
-
Dont want him to go to another PL team. IF he does then I prefer City. Any other would make me wanna throw up even more so.
-
Just give every single club a maximum limit of say 200m/season to spend. As long as they can prove that they aren’t running the club to the ground or siimilar.

The service he gets is shit and has been for most of the season. Chasing shadows, waiting for passes that never come. It’s awful.
We need a creative link between midfield and attack to get the best out of him. One that can receive the ball well and keep possession in tight situations and bring others into play too. Would also create more openings for Gordon and X new player for the right. -

TBF to Howe, we've seen the team he wants to play maybe once this season against Aston villa on the opening day, that turned out quite well. I don't think any manager could have done much better with the available resources.
We’ve had lots of injuries and whatever, but there has been many more occasions where we could/should have been able to do better. -
Even IF he doesn’t start at LB then I would much rather play him than Longstaff in the centre.

Thought we had the right idea and set up but when the moments that the set up provided arrived, the quality and composure just wasn't there.
I agree apart from Burn and Longstaff starting. Just don’t offer enough on the ball to allow us as a team to actually keep the ball better at times to improve our chances of hurting City. -
Hall on the pitch improves us in possession. He’s actually a footballer with ability on the ball.
-
Good to see some real ability on the ball.
