  1. I agree... He's made some great crosses, but imo they are s*** too many times... Even the best crossers of the ball in the world have more s*** ones than good ones. It's a case of putting in the really telling one enough times to make up for the poor ones, and Milner has put in a few cracking crosses and seems to be getting better at them all the time. It's not his crossing that holds him back, it's his lack of pace that really kills him. He'll never be a top player out wide IMO, especially in a 4-3-3. If we go 4-4-2 then I'd have him down the right, but since we blatantly won't I'd rather see him moved infield. Well i agree with what you say, even the best crossers do have shit ones also. But imo Milner has too many of those to be called even a "good" crosser. It's a shame that he doesn't have good pace, then he might of been Really good in a few years. Even if he hasn't that much pace he still makes up for it with other good attributes. N'Zogbia has alot more potential in my eyes. But i like Milner and he always gives his all and can play on both flanks and he pops upt with some good stuff occasionally combined with some hard work and commitment.

  5. Same team today that started against Bolton
  6. I hope that he stays, not just a good squad player to have, but also a nice person who is good to have in the dressingroom and off the pitch. I believe that he's a clever man to have around.

Could we please close this chapter asap He's goone.
  9. I have always disliked Diouf when we have played Bolton, but he surely is a talented player who would improve our team. Not that it's gonna happen now though..
  10. Well if we did that, it would almost kill some Bolton fans..

Emre has great qualitys, Just been a little inconsistent. When everything works well for him he's a Class player, but that doesn't happen too often unfortunately. But i would also add one thing on that, He has played in a shit team with no organisation or tactics whatsoever, where aömost every other player also has been up and down, mostly down. Under a manager who will sort out the players different roles in the team, a manager who will motivate most of the players, No we seem to have some strategy and so on. So im confident that this season when emre gets fit we might see his true talent more often. Because the little kebab surely has some great talent, and i dont think many doubt that. But hopefully we will see him use that more often, if not, then he will probably never be able to show his talent as he's missing other attributes to make use of the good ones..

THIS. Staggering. Thank God for Icelandic stupidity! Instead getting Geremi and Barton or Smith for around £6m 2 better players and £8M in on the bank for us ....Quality dealing by Sam and the rest involved   If this comes off, definately. I was aghast when we pulled the plug on the Dyer thing at £6m. If we can get another mill for the little c***, i'll be over the moon! I genuinely thoguht Ashley had f***** that one up, but fair play to him and his team if it goes through at £7m - although the sickening feeling at thinking we were going to have to keep paying superstar wages to a very average player weren't nice. So was i when considering that no manager probably wants an unhappy player amon the squad. But if this deal goes through and Dyer completes his move to West Ham today or tomorrow, then looking at this afterwards then it really was good dealing from Ashley even if there was a risk that the whole deal would collapse. 1. We earned more money through Ashleys decision. 2. We dont just give away players because there's a bid on the table. Maybe this could send out a little message that Newcastle wont sell if they dont think the price is good enough. Before we have given away players just for the cause of it Even if it doesn't send out a message to other clubs it surely cant do any harm either. At least £1m earned

How much have we spent now then? When taking the money from parkers and dyers tranfers off from our outlay? About £10-11M??

£7M for Dyer is great money imo. Glad to get rid of one of the "old pieces" of Newcastle who never could give us consistent performances due to injurys and lack of effort.
