Dont know how reliable that paper is though. But i would really love him here, He's maybe not a real DM but he is class and his value will be higher in the future. Have been reading that Benfica wants £12M for him. He is class, proven in this league, young. Simply one for now and the future. Im sure that his value will rise alot over a season or two. He has almost everything you can ask for. Get him in!! Even if it costs us £10m+

And a defensive midfielder Butt is good for now, but we'll need someone after next season. If Derby are in the shitter come January, a bid for Giles Barnes would be top of my list. Manuel Fernandes maybe isn't the natural DM but i would love to see him at the toon. Class. And wil only get better..

This actually has happened for real so i cant really understand all the jokes that are going around about this. It's not exactly a movie or anything. If this would of happened to a player in my country (Sweden) or in England or one relatively safe country to live in then people would be shocked and finding it hard to find words to describe it. I have always been confident in Taylors ability and potential. Not easy with all the shit around him, With better players and a better manager making the team more organised and consistent im confident that Taylor will grow a level or two and become a really good CB..

Im from Sweden...And i hope that we stay clear away from him..A few years ago he was good, but not anymore. Injuryprone also. Reminds me of Dyer these days. Does not contribute much imo. And difficult to find a position for him. NO THANKS

I will ask a friend who supports Lyon and see what he has to say about Cacapa. I will report back as soon as i get some info about him.

Dont know anything about Jaurès tbh. But what i have seen from Cacapa (not seen him much) is that he's alot better than all those defenders that we have let go of. And on a free transfer and that he also has great experience he will certainly strengthen our squad and give us competition. So i cant see anything negative about signing him. Dont know what wages he was on at Lyon though, but generally players in France are not on high wages as in the PL. But Lyon surely have some players on quite high wages. And he has played alot for Lyon so i cant imagine him being any worser than most of oyr defenders that we have been playing with lately. We have not really had any real competition for places lately so it can only be positive. Even if there has been some awful play from most of our defenders due to not being good enough and not being on their toes there has only been donkey shit to replace those players. Competition improves the quality, and most of all i believe that competition makes players play with more consistency. He might only been seen as backup, who knows...But i like it when we dont shell out BIG money for riskfull signings who appear to be shit.. Like signing Viduka for a couple of years on a free is excellent business instead of putting up £10m on someone who "might" turn out to be good. In the future we could take more chances imo. But now we need to get things right. And even if the cheap signings prove to be shit, whats the loss? Cacapa isn't exactly known for being a shiteplayer. You dont play for Lyon then..
