I may be wrong, but from what i know he hasn't exactly played much as a striker. When he came to AIK here in sweden everbody was raving on about him, He was really good for Panathinakois when they were in the CL and played against Real Madrid. But then it went down for him And he went to AIK, and he did quite well there in the end before he left, he had a tough start and got alot of stick, But after that he grew asa player, And i have no idea how he's been doing lately. The last i saw from him was in the WC mostly coming on as a sub. I think he MIGHT be a good squad player. But i doubt that he's good enough to be a first team regular, but as i said i dont know how he has been playing this season.. But if you look at how little he might cost then he's a much better backup than Pattison. (i think he played for another team before AIK)

It's a bank holiday today, the vast majority of the country has the day off. Ah ok. Cheers....I had no idea about that. She usually talks so much s*** so i thought that she just wanted to make up an excuse for getting drunk and going out to party.. Is the meeting going to be tomorrow for sure? I have read about it being early in this week but not any day confirmed. But i guess that they want to do this as wuick as possible (the meeting that is) i just hope that it will ease off from there so i can call work and say im sick and have a cold BIG BEER and just enjoy the moment =)

He is a confidence player. When he has confidence he isn't that poor imo. When he's on fire he plays quite well and all those easy things in play go much better for him. And how can a player have alot of confidence playing in our shit team this season?? No quality partner to build a good understanding with, and most of all a organised team with strategy and every player knowing their roles. It doesn't matter at what level you play, in a good team you will always have more confidence and play better because of it. He may never have the touch and awareness and vision of a great player . But it can be better and i think it will be next season. He has great strengts as a player, lets just coach him in the right direction and take use of his abilities that he has and hopefully that will make him much more consistant and effective. We WONT find a player for £10m that has all that we ask for, young, 20 goals a season, super skillful and at the same time willing to come here. I say give it some time and the right coaching and im confident that we will not regret keeping him. With the right guidance he can become REALLY good i believe...

You would not think that something like this is needed, But there has been so many threads lately that have been shit and not in a need of a new thread. can i ask why we are sticking martins on the wing? Can I ask why there's 12 players in that team? forgot about Given, i think Martins could be our Diouf playing on the right side of the front three ala Bolton, he has the pace and can shoot from anywhere, he just needs to work on his work rate Martins does not have it in him to play there, simple... I see it often being mentioned here with Owen up front and Martins and some other player as L/R sided forward/winger. Fucking hell. Get real, some people really believe that it would work..

I think that Taylor is a good defender and will only get better and better and more consistent with some better players around him and some good coaching. Even if he has done some mistakes through the season i think that he's been one of our better players this season. Im glad that we have him here and specially as he's comitted and loyal to this club and loves playing and giving 100% I would not imagine it being easy for him to perform and being consistent this season with some of the shit around him. Im optimistic about his future and i believe he will be big part of this clubs future. He's young and willing to learn. And with better players around him he will develope as a player even further. How could it be that easy for a young player like him perform game after game under big pressure and in a team without confidence during most of the season. Of course he sometimes wants it too much and makes harsh decicions and give away stupid freekicks. But he will learn from that and grow both in quality and experience wise... he has great potential IMO and im confident he will show that in the future..
