I don’t give a fuck about Isak anymore as long as we get a big enough fee. I’m more frustrated and concerned about what we will actually get through the door, both in quality as well as in numbers.

I’d like to add “when Isak is at his best”. He is far from his best in quite a few games over a season.

Isak won’t be leaving because Liverpool won’t pay enough. Also, they are a bit too late.

He has a small mouth but rats can still find their way in.

Be happy with that. Because if we create chances he will score goals. Spend ambitiously (ideally) in other areas instead.

“Pausing” could also affect the current players in a negative way. Just don’t spend big on a striker as there aren’t that many out there. Strengthen elsewhere big time and get Wissa.

But there aren’t really any strikers to go big on anymore? That are good enough/worth it imo. That’s why I’d be happy with Wissa IF we strengthen properly in every other department.

I genuinely think we can go big and get real quality in. The only next to impossible thing seems to be getting a striker in. Thats why I’ve said that I’d be happy with Wissa and then go big for other positions, as well as filling the squad out. Strengthen the team and squad properly in other areas and we can still have a very good season.

Personally I’d aim for a CM that is good enough to play with Bruno and Tonali consistently. Love Big Joe but he lacks in some areas against some teams. Plus I have my doubts regarding his fitness. We need 4 class CM if we play with a 3. Preferably one with great technical qualities. We need to improve in this area. Said it for ages.

Get Wissa in and strengthen as fuck in other positions/squad instead. Not as good (ceiling) as Isak but you cannot underestimate Wissa nor the overall strength of the team if done correctly. There’s been plenty of teams doing well without a proper quality striker like Isak. Even Isak isn’t unplayable that often over a whole season.
