The more days that pass by the more other clubs will know how much more desperate we get.

We’re like a stubborn man bargaining at the market in Khao Lak, coming back to the same stands a few days between. Except we’ve forgot that we’re on the fancy streets of Paris. At least we have all the money left when we fly home with 0 souvenirs.

Not bothered about him joining them. More bothered about the time we’ve wasted before we walked away.

I agree, it’s shite the rules and all that. It’s anticompetitive. Having said that, it’s not exactly like we’re making the most out of what’s possible now either. This window so far is making us look like amateurs.

What worries me the most isn’t Isak leaving. Obviously it will make the players think and talk and have doubts and so on. The worst thing about it is us not doing enough in this window. IF we do then the players will think alright he might be leaving but that’s football, the club is really strengthening in every way possible so things being sorted and we move on and be stronger overall. It would give them a massive boost. The opposite of not doing enough is what worries me a lot. This is supposed to be a massive window in every way. To be entirely honest I’m almost certain now that we’ll do not even near enough, unfortunately. I just can’t see us bringing 4-5 players in. The feel good factor, unity and momentum can be so so quickly washed away. So much negative noise around the place as well as lack of direction and structure above Eddie. Players are human, it will affect them. Having said that, I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to be more wrong. Please prove me wrong. Also, If there’s any group of players that can and will fight through this then it’s these ones. The club needs to do everything possible now to help. It’s time for the people in charge to really sort things out.

Let’s hope so. Believe it when I see it. We have so many deals to do, every day counts.

If IF PIF buy Nunez then they should request Liverpool to pay 160m+ for Isak. As if… Not that I want him to go there, but if in this window I see no other place. Annoying in every way this, mind.

I agree. Good player, reliable fitness wise, versatile as well as a very good finisher. Pretty safe signing. Not very young but for that price you won’t find anything near as good as him. And proven.

Does anyone think that we have a verbal agreement already (if if)? But that we want to make sure that we get our striker signed first? Probably not. I imagine that’s how it gonna go though.

Very much this. I said before the window that i wasn’t confident about us doing enough despite it being massively important. I also questioned the experience and skill of the people in charge of trying to get deals done. Got told that Nickson and mini Howe etc had more than enough and that they’d get it sorted.

I’ve kind of already moved on. Just hope it ends in the best possible way for us, at our terms. I’d be more gutted about losing Bruno or Tonali for example.

Am I the only one who ends up on top of the same page despite clicking “next page” ? When I click again then it’s like normal and I get to the next page. Happens every now and then but far from all the time. (I’m sure this is a priority for you folks now…)
