Not gonna waste my time digging specific things up like you often do I just know how you can be be on here at times. Not something i will ever store in the back of my head, especially in detail. I don’t want him sold, we won’t sell him. Unless it’s an absolutely ridiculous price like around 80m or more. But let’s not kid ourselves if we get offered 80+ then he’s gone. He is irreplaceable as an individual yes, but on the whole we’d be better off when you consider what possibilities it would open up. it’s not happening though, so it’s still a win. He’s brilliant and has his best years ahead of him and he will get even better.

His linkup play is great as well as his through balls. very nice having someone like this closer to Isak. Despite his size and strength he’s able to change direction easily with the ball under control because of his balance. He‘s very good at a lot of things.

Luckily for us Forest will ask for way more money than we are prepared to pay. Thank God!

Wouldn’t this more or less mean that we would be able to buy a replacement for say 30-40m and then be able to sign two 40m players on top of that when you consider PSR? Perhaps not if we include wages for the other two players I guess.

I don’t want us to sell him, and I don’t see us selling him unless for a ridiculous price like 80m+. Having said that, we will need to do similar deals at times to be able to reinvest and grow quicker.

What would our asking price be if we are to guess? 75m? Surely it would take an even more ridiculous price considering how much we wish to keep him.

Could we get Madueke on a cheaper deal than Elanga? If so then yes please. I prefer Akliouche though. But I believe that Madueke would thrive under Eddie in a more settled environment with consistent game time.

It’s all or nothing for me. Take as much risk as possible while we can.

I’ve said it before that I would much rather have Madueke than Elanga, even though he wouldn’t be my first choice. I think he offers a lot more in general play and against a low block while still being good in transitions. Yeah you can argue about his output but I think his overall ability and potential ceiling is much higher. I think Newcastle and Eddie would be the perfect place for him. Give him a more settled environment where he can feel more valued and I reckon he would prosper before too long. Give him that and I’m sure his confidence and joy for football would come quickly. Along with that his output and consistency as well. Im pretty certain that Elanga wouldn’t do too well at Chelsea.

If possible I’d like to see us get rid of Willock and Longstaff and bring in about 30m. Go for Fernandes from Southampton and we should still be better off financiallly. Might not be as easy as that but yeah, not impossible.

Being good in possession and ball retention and controlling games better doesn’t mean that your team is playing possession just for the sake of it like Man City do.

One thing that is massive if we sign him is having someone centrally in the last third that is a massive threat, and not alone, playing with Isak further ahead. With JP getting the ball high up the pitch it will force the opposition defence to be dragged out of shape which itself will give Isak much more space in the more central areas. JP often takes a man out with a first touch and turn which will give us and Isak so much more space and also not being forced to come too deep. We all know how good Bruno’s and Tonali’s quick and progressive passes can be, and having Pedro there much closer to them will make it much easier for them to do this more often. As it is now when we only have Isak centrally he either can get very isolated or has to come quite deep for the build up. This often results in that he can’t really be a a threat centrally as often as we’d like. With Isak coming deep it also indirectly makes us become more predictable as that results in us having to go wide most of the time because we don’t have a player up there when Isak comes deep. Quite often the space between our CM and Isak is a bit too vast. Unless he comes deep as mentioned. Also having two players in central areas further upp could also force the opponent defence to compress which at times will give our wide players more space. Makes it more difficult for the opposition either way.

Yep agree. As well as the technical ability and awareness of space when with the ball. Goes without saying this really, just wanted to add it anyway. He’s pretty good in the air as well. Will never forget that late goal he scored against us when we played Watford. Absolutely gutted

Wow this is gonna get expensive like if it happens…. This I’m 100% behind though. Obviously different positions but I’m all for this, while the opposite for Elanga for the prices mentioned. At least with Pedro there’s genuine quality there and a massive ceiling potentially as well. He has a lot in his locker. Would be a fantastic signing. I can see him going up a level or two quite quickly. As well as making us less vulnerable when Isak gets injured or rested. Versatility is key here. Can see us playing Tonali and Bruno in a double pivot with Pedro in front of them. Love the idea of Bruno and Tonali threading progressive quick passes through the centre to him without Isak having to come too deep.

Talent wise he’s much better. Just a rotten mentality and attitude. I think the environment at ManU has meant that he’s lost his track. I don’t want him but I’d rather pay the money for him than Elanga if I was forced between the two. Don’t want either
