Christ…I also think we were great in the final. I just thought it was obvious that I meant overall lately, that we haven’t been playing as well as we can. I reckon most on here got my point without having to mention the final.

He doesn’t play in the same way for Italy. I’ve watched every game very closely. Think the instructions are entirely different. We have many other players who lose the ball more easily, and that’s without trying the more difficult quick release passes as often as he does. I also remember you saying bits about him when we signed him, despite barely seen him playing iirc.

Im not talking about Liverpool as if that wasn’t pretty obvious without needing a mention. But the games before and after. If you think we’ve been very good lately I don’t know what to tell you. It’s great that we’ve been able to pick up points but we can play better. Eddie himself has said it, I guess he’s wrong too.

Hoping that we can be at our best. Intense, sharp, focused and controlled on the ball. I really don’t think we’ve been that good lately despite picking up good results fortunately. I hope we up our game and smash them.

If we get CL I wouldn’t be extremely surprised to see us spending up towards 150m. Especially if we sell Longstaff for example. I reckon that we’ll be able to do some great commercial deals as well to strengthen us financially going forward.

Pretty much how I see it. Yes there’s been a couple of incidents for whatever reasons, and they don’t look very nice. Having said that, it doesn’t define entirely that person X is 100% this or that. Hopefully he’ll have learned something from it. From a pure footballing perspective I just really really think his attributes would take us up another dimension, easily. Imo for what I think and visualise in my head I reckon for what he’d bring to our arsenal and he’d make the team and other players around him so much more dangerous. My view on it is that while 60m is a lot of money I can see it being a bargain in the near future when I consider how much of a difference he could/would make for us. I reckon that it’s much easier to find a CB that is cheaper than 50m but one that still brings 90% of what the more expensive one does. I see a player like Cunha helping us to score so many more goals in general, and not just because of his goals/assists.
