Happy with that. Having said that, a bit too sloppy when it comes to our ball retention at times. A bit more on it and we could have killed the game off entirely and make even earlier subs. Not unhappy obviously

I think we’ll be better than we were against Brentford where I thought we were quite poor. I think we will win convincingly tonight. Kind of glad that we’ve got that first game out of the way against Brentford with all 3 points.

If it wasn’t that much about PSR and revenue and such then I genuinely wouldn’t mind it THAT much if we got EL instead. But yeah, I’m desperate for CL because of this. It gives us a much greater chance of closing the gap.

It’s entirely up to us basically. Work hard and focus and be consistent and we will get CL. Hopefully some luck with injuries too I obviously.

Many clubs are either a mess or in massive transitions in different ways. Hope we get CL and pounce properly to establish ourselves up there consistently.

I don’t think Anderson is good enough. Once we get a new CM I want someone better. I don’t think he’s all that some of you seem to think. Ceiling isn’t that high imo. We should aim for a starting CM so there’s more or less no drop off in quality when we rotate. That it a younger one with a massive ceiling (but very good even now)

Totally agree! Also why I don’t get the Elanga at Toon bit like so many on here do. He’s the perfect fit at Nottingham with the perfect club/manager. Mbeumo is easily better but even then I’m not 100% sure on him for us. No question he has great end product. When you consider our ambitions and where we want and aim to go then we need to evolve even more. Especially technically, creatively and in possession. This doesn’t mean that “intensity is our identity” is wrong by any means, and I also love it. We need players that also improves us in general play, and that gives us more variety.

I thought we did some things very well, but also very poor at times. Not entirely unexpected on this occasion really. Having said that, I do think we in general need to improve when in possession of the ball, and our composure which goes missing at times during the games which makes us look a bit headless and out of control. Sometimes we look ridiculously good when at it.
