I thought we did some things very well, but also very poor at times. Not entirely unexpected on this occasion really. Having said that, I do think we in general need to improve when in possession of the ball, and our composure which goes missing at times during the games which makes us look a bit headless and out of control. Sometimes we look ridiculously good when at it.

C o m p o s u r e ! ! That and technical ability is what we need more of. Improve ourselves in possession overall too. We need more variety, not just intensity. I’m sure it will come. Don’t want any Liverpool players!

I hope so. He would get a ton of assists playing with Isak. Would offer us something different to what we have, some genuine guile. I hope we won’t prioritise too much on a player that is extremely direct and dynamic at the cost of other attributes we also need in the team for slightly better balance. Akliouche is a genuinely brilliant footballer with so much natural talent and IQ. His passing and awareness is great.

My preferred option is Akliouche.
