Personally I’m more worried about being fingered in the ass by ET.
-
Keeper should have done better.
-
Francisco Trincão. End product and creative. Not a midget either. No idea about price.
-
What a signing! He’s so good at so much. Even if not the worlds best in every single possible attribute.

No! Hall has been one of our best players. Burn has done very well at CB too. -
Credit to Murphy for what he has done this season for us, especially number wise as well as his work rate. Can’t praise him highly enough. Having said that, IF we can get THE RW for us in January already, one that hits the ground running more or less from the off then it’s looking very very good going forward. Just the idea of a technical and creative wide player coming in has me excited. One that properly improves our “in general play” as well as drawing tons of attention from the opposition allowing for more space in the channels for Isak and Bruno to operate in.
-
He’s also not as tall as Burn.
-
Ideally not. But some players might be difficult to move on later. The opportunity might not come next window.
-
Well personally I prefer a player that both can and will make more difficult and progressive passes at times. Even if it means that his percentage is less than “normal” 6’s that are elite. Imo Tonali is elite or soon to be if not already. I’m sure he will get more used to his role and his team mates with time as well. Good enough to dominate against France is elite imo. Also, he’s only 24 years old. Saying that he always plays it quick quick quick is totally wrong.
-
Well then we can buy new ones and get rid of players that aren’t for the long term because we want to evolve. We might not get the same offers for some players again.
-
It’s definitely not always quick quick quick. You’re basing this on a few quick ones where we lost possession. He often slows its down and keeps it slow/basic too. Also I prefer him to do the quick ones at times as it helps us massively when he pulls them off. Against ManU a few of them didn’t come off but it’s not like it happens as often as in the first half. I prefer him this way than someone like Ugarte who only passes it safe and slowly sideways and backwards more often than not in the games I’ve seen for Sporting/PSG/ManU.
-
I know his natural/main position is CF. Once again… not my ideal signing by any means. Whether he would be willing to come and play as a right sided forward and CF on quite a few occasions I don’t know obviously, neither do you. Might very well be that it’s not something he’s up to. Just saying that it might be an option worth looking at at least considering that we only have one quality striker and also need a right sided player.
-
Expensive I’d guess. Buy one that hasn’t already shown PL quality.

The best thing about ManU is that they will really struggle to shift some (many) of their players considering the contracts they’re on. I also wonder what quality/hungry player with any sense would go there now unless it’s for the money alone. -
You don’t say, my bad. I genuinely thought he played for Scunthorpe reserves and for free. Sit on the bench? You don’t think he would get ahead of Murphy? He has played out wide a lot. Could also be rotated with Isak. I’ve mentioned before that he’s on around 200k at a guess. But IF it was possible financially then he wouldn’t be a bad choice on loan with an option to buy in the summer as he can play many positions. Especially if PSG were willing to pay some of his wages. Ideally not my first choice type as a RW but considering that we rely so heavily on Isak and that we won’t be able to buy both a striker and right sided player in January he might be an option to look at. Depending on his character and the financial side of it obviously. A young talented CB and him for example and it would look quite good squad wise.
-
Who would people pick between Bakayoko and Dibling to name two we’ve been linked with? I doubt Cherki is of the profile we are looking at unfortunately. Personally my first pick would probably be Akliouche. Don’t see that one being possible in January though. Talented and very good footballing IQ. Between Dibling and Bakayoko I’m not sure really. Maybe Dibling as I think he might be better long term. Kolo-Muani might be a good option considering that we only have Isak and if he got injured we’d be fucked.

When the possibility arrives we should move Willock on. Easier said than done though I assume.

Loco appeal turned down. 3 match ban stands.

Set pieces could be a key advantage for us (to name one thing). -
Wouldn’t mind a young quality CB with potential and Kolo-Muani in on loan if possible at all. Providing that he checks the boxes regarding character and such important things. His versatility and quality is not in question. Would prefer only permanent signings but I doubt we can get two. K-M because we only have Isak - as Osula is nowhere near ready. (I guess his wages are at around 200k though?)

Elanga isn’t the answer.
