I totally agree! However, much much rather City than say Liverpool, ManU or Arsenal. I love Bruno and I think he amazing bith as a player and character. IF we receive say 85-90m or thereabouts then we would be stupid to turn it down considering his age and the PSR restrictions we have. We MUST wheel and deal. The big question is what we actually spend that money on.

Much rather someone of his profile than a direct sprinter that offers fuck all different to what we have.

Strikers are near impossible to find, never mind strikers that you know willl deliver in the PL, like guaranteed. You could buy a hot and hyped striker from abroad in crazy form and it’s still not a guarantee despite spending say 70-80m or more. You see midfielders going for around 100m these days. I don’t want him sold but IF we have to then I’d just laugh and ignore bids below 140m.

And I’ve also said that despite this, he isn’t the type of player we should have signed to begin with. Put the LW/RW and Gordon aside I still don’t think it was the right type of signing at the time and I said so way back after he aigned. What we should have signed is a winger that’s creative and has great technical ability. A player that offers something different than directness and running like most of our players. I said before last season that we need more creativity and technical ability and become more possession based on the whole to really evolve and become more versatile no matter what type of team we play against.

If if if. I see this often on here. We have the points we deserve, it’s as simple as that. If a team can’t finish and be more clinical/confident/defending well enough then it is what it is. It’s not like we’ve been fucked over by the refs countless times, everything against us. Im not too worried about the points/position right now. I am thought from what I can see on the pitch. How little we can get out of this group of players at the moment. Our lack of control/quality in possession. Our shape and lack of creativity and so on.

He’s very intelligent as well as having the physicality and technical ability.
