I hope not. I remember saying around the same time last season that we needed CL football to keep Isak and Tonali here otherwise there was bound to be teams trying to pick them off. We got it and we still lost Isak and now there's been rumblings about Tonali. We really need to be able to pay top wages to keep players here, or at least somewhere in the ball park. Obviously we have to do everything we can to keep them here, but be prepared for every eventuality. Much better prepared than we were last summer.

Well now you've piqued my interest. Any match where a ref is in danger of being torn apart by frenzied mobs is likely to provide a spectacle.

I understand the thinking, if the team has given up then the board has to rescue the season even with a short term measure. Frank might just be a small club manager, I didn't really follow his career before he became Brentford manager. But I think there's a good chance this Tudor guy would have had the same results with the same players available if he was in charge. Spur look like they have suffered losing a lot of key players to injury.

Of all the players who cartel clubs might be eyeing up, I would have thought Hall would be top of the list.

I reckon Wolt would love to play up front against these. I doubt he'll get roughed up the same as he does in the EPL, that should mean he could have more impact in the penalty area. There again you could probably say the same for Osula and Wissa as well. Half the problem has been even getting the supply into the penalty area, they would all probably fancy their chances more in a game like this rather than the PL.

Not really sure what the point was of sacking Frank for an interim manager tbh. I know Spurs have become something of a joke team this season, but they have suffered a lot of injuries. Will this Tudor guy really make much of a difference?

He can't blame anyone else for the Digne handball tbh, he was stood right there, and Digne was still both feet in the penalty area after he'd blown his whistle.

I think he'd take a pay cut to get a move here tbh. He was keen before Citys stepped in with their juggernaut bank reserves.

Might have looked at Tino's long injury list and thought twice about it.

Pep doesn't like to hold onto unhappy players so if Trafford really wanted to leave, he would probably get his wish. We'd have to pay through the nose and match his wages though, which are probably on a higher scale than we would have paid. Probably worth it though, he does look a good keeper.
