Even this doesn't make sense. Good to know the standard of British sports journalists is still at rock bottom. I'm completely confused, I read the article and it's worded that basically they pay 6 million a year while he's with them. So if it doesn't work out for them, they could go and sell him next summer for say 15 million, and pocket 9 million on the deal while we've only recived 6 million for a player another club were prepared to pay 30 million for. It makes no sense whatsoever ! And this clarification doesn't make any sense either. I think they need to implement a rule that states football clubs need to explain the full details of all player transactions the minute they happen. It's just causing confusion when papers can just make up stuff to paint a good deal as a bad deal or vice versa. In the NFL, everything is made public, from the details of the compensation given (in terms of draft picks traded), the salary the player is on to the bonuses he's paid. The amendment makes sense, it's just being made to seem more complicated than it is. Spurs owe us £30m. They will pay £6m per year. No matter what happens, we will receive that £30m, but if they sell him before his contract is up, the remaining installments could be paid by his new club, should that be how Tottenham negotiate that transfer. Or Tottenham may continue to pay them. Or Tottenham may just lump sum the remaining fee. All stuff that is irrelevant to us. We will receive £30m in the next 5 years (or less).

What the fuck is that shit Did they not stop to think why the fuck we would agree to that? I hate this "Levy always gets the best deal" shite, he doesn't. He's overpaid on a number of players that didn't succeed at Spurs. It has been clarified on Twitter. Spurs would pay us £6m for each year of his contract, but if a club buys him before the 5 years if up, its up to Spurs to pay up the remainder of the money owed when sold. So the same as any installments based transfer that has ever happened then. Daft twats.

I went with good. Very good would've involved signing another Ritchie and signing a less shit striker than Daryl Murphy.

You know much about Doctor Tony's finances like?
-
And I meant thirty million yes and not 30 pounds before someone who thinks he's clever, or at least try to make himself feel clever, steps in to correct me. Rafa got Mike's word AND he got it in writing? Well I'm sold. Everythings coming up milhouse. Thanks for the ITK.

He's featured for zero minutes of our current campaign. Getting £30m for him was a masterstroke. Have we won the league already? Must have missed that.
-
You expected us to invest more than what we received for Wini/Townsend/Sissoko in the Championship? Expect? Nah. But why shouldn't we invest at least as much as we've brought in? Because we'd be buying for buying's sake. We've already done enough business. You don't think we could strengthen the team more than we have? Or perhaps have paid a little more and purchased people who aren't Daryl Murphy?

Looking at the league it would appear that they're actually quite the step up from Newcastle.

An athlete, no end product, questionable attitude. Dead good at running forward though.

Whoa now. Don't get me wrong, I really do hope that his plane plummets into the Seine/Thames/Mersey/Tyne, but I have to draw the line at wishing a lego-kneel upon him. Or any man for that matter. Abhorrent suggestion.
-
It's very difficult to imagine him leaving while no-one actually wants to buy him. People seem to have overlooked this fact all summer.
-
No matter what he does from this point forward I will never have the same connection to the club that I once had, thanks to Mike Ashley.
-
keep and tell him to play (but if he's gash sack him off to the ressies)
-
unsure if i find it interesting that he's gone there, or he's just gone there because no-one else would take him
-
Even if it avoided Sunderland? Well in which case I would've said something like "My gut told me to stay the fuck away from Sunderland, so Hull will have to do".
-
If my gut feeling ever took me to Hull, I'd be straight to A&E to get it looked at.

Average player at Wigan is not a Resonable player for us in my book. This is would the worst signing of the summer if it came off, people could argue the abilities of Clark, Hanley or Murphy but all three fill a certain need and offer value to the squad. McManaman is a nothing player, who is no better than putting Gouff or Perez on the left. The love for Rafa will stop this being a PR disaster but it's still not really a good move from that perspective considering it appears needless, Brom want to get rid of player from their wage bill that offers them little, why do we need to help them out ? Even his current manager is saying he doesn't like him and happy just to get his money back, and his current manager is Tony Pullis !! Just fyi, the word average is used to describe the word reasonable in le dictionaire... http://i.imgur.com/gCRt6Vk.png

I would strongly advise you do not question Doctor Tony.
-
I wouldn't say that "reasonable" and "average" were all that dissimilar a term like We've got plenty of average players, he'll fit in perfectly. I can take it or leave it. This whole thing would be a massive shrug of the shoulders if it wasn't for the tackle.

Same I must be the only person who couldn't care if he signs or not ? Always thought he was a decent wee player whoen he was at Wigan !.... Also I completely forgot about that tackle to haidara until yesterday ? Saying that it was paddy's day and I was fucked up on Guinness Wey I just don't care about whether someone wears a poppy or not, even if it is bellend McClean. I still think McManaman is also a bellend. Seemed like a reasonable player a year or so ago... so I could deal with him signing, but ideally we make him publically kiss Haidara's ring(piece?) before he gets to play for us.
