They're likely no worse than Newport County
  2. I confirm my attendance. But you never know what'll be right around the corner, could get hit by a bus on the way there. I know one thing though, I wouldn't let a shoulder dislocation stop me playing. Shoulder pops out, you just pop it back in and get on with the game. That's the trouble with the game nowadays, too many foreigners flopping around the pitch looking to avoid a bit graft.

Calm it down Jeb, it's 2015 now, women are allowed to play sport.
  4. Stats prove dribbling is far too high risk boss.
  5. 46. Nahhh, Chelsea will re-sign him for £70m at some point and dump him back on their bench. Either that or the latest sheik-backed dafties oversees. FOOTBALL <3
  6. be class if he cashed in for a tenner at 2-0
  7. Your hateful words towards a marginalised community have no place here. woo woo
  8. Probably just chafage. 2 months tied to a chair does that to a lad.
  9. I'm sure it was the general team ethos to play "possession football" in the first few games, and I'm sure Anita was candidate #1 for the KISS treatment. Of course possession football doesn't tend to work when you've got an underconfident team who generally stand still & who are scared to pass the ball until they've touched it 100 times first.
  10. Good call. That way everyone will be blown away when/if I turn up.
  11. Hatem took initiative and got shipped off to Hull.
  12. I'm the mercurial talent type who would never "confirm attendance" at any form of gathering. But I'll be there. Or will I? Yes. I will. ... Or will I? (Yes) ?

    Graham Carr

Based of nowt more than - his face, his twat of a Dad, and that whole contract holdout sitch he had, I believe Tom Ince to be the exact opposite of what we need at NUFC.

    Graham Carr

The most prominent brits we have at NUFC are Mike Ashley, Lee Charnley, Graham Carr, Steve McClaren and Jack Colback. Foreign all the way. PL-seasoned foreign would be nice though.
  15. I'm also going to a wedding, but (thanks?) to the time difference, I can still watch. Sad times.
  16. Fuck this. I'm going to be on a beach Florida, without a care in the world. Until about 2 minutes before KO when I get bored and start streaming this godforsaken shitshow of a match.
  17. I reckon this could be what sends Chelsea on an obscene run of good form. 0-5.
  18. I feel like it's been a while since the world has had a high profile assassination. #justsayin

    Graham Carr

Except I wouldn't call this season's signings particularly cheap. I think you have to question the scouts, manager and Charnley there, I don't think the owner is putting a price on these players. I'm not saying Carr is flawless by any means, but he's not the reason NUFC is in the state its in. Not even close. Not that I think believe any of the players we bought were particularly "expensive", their fees may have been a little higher than we've paid before, but when you consider the general PL transfer fee level, their inevitably meagre contracts, and the minimal chance of depreciation, they represent very little risk, financially speaking. You find Mike an influential outspoken 28 year old 80k p/w Englishman and he'll probably clock you over the head with an oversized mug.

    Graham Carr

Once again, unless any of you are actually working closely to Carr et al., I struggle to see how you can know whether he had recommended powerful/influential/non-shit players. I'm far more inclined to blame the man that has a track record of being the cheapest cunt in the land, who likely ignores 90% of recommendations and just goes with the cheapest option, whether that's what the team needs or not.
  21. such relentless hyperbole
  22. Aye but they were in the Premier League then. It's always difficult playing Championship sides.
  23. Just a completely weak set of players. Season goes against them even slightly & they've all gone to pieces. Given up since we lost to West Ham. Very little to do with the individual players man. We've been shit for years on the back of our ethos as a club. We could have Messi and Ronaldo upfront and they'd look like shit in a NUFC shirt. The whole club is broken.
