  1. Motorbikes aren't the problem it's the fucking car drivers. The fact that Mother and child walked away from the accident suggests that the problem is that its dangerous to ride motorbikes. The mother and child walked away because they were in a cocoon of metal called a motor car. Riding a motorbike is not a dangerous thing until you add other factors in such as speed, other drivers who don't check properly and pull out infront of bikers, idiots who ride without helmets etc. So, what you mean is that riding a motorbike isn't dangerous untless you're on a road? Just like being a pedestrian isn't all that dangerous until you add vehicles into the equation. Aye, and this should tell you that the notion of separating the two factors is entirely retarded.

Motorbikes are dangerous to drive, for whatever reasons, and thus it's a risk a professional footballer shouldn't be taking.
  3. Liverpool finished something like 3 points behind Man Utd at the end of last season. Chelsea are currently top with Arsenal second. Could you point out which 2 of the 4 you're referring to? Which two teams have won the Premiership for the last I don't know how long. Even if you include the big 4 then, the Premier League is twice the size of the SPL so instead of having two big teams you have 4. There is no real difference. I agree, I just didn't agree with this 'only 2 realistic teams' thing. I'm one of the few that is pro Celtic/Rangers. TBH I'm just pro-change as far as the Premier League goes. It is stagnant, and us Brits are far far far far far too averse to change. People can blab on all they want about the quality of football in the Premier League vs other leagues, but ultimately our current league system allows for some really really ugly and poor teams to survive in the top flight.

  7. How do you expect your "Proper manager" will react when you "Get rid of the big earners"? Arsene Wenger works within a wage structure, he not proper enough for you? Working within an existing wage structure (which is massive at Arsenal btw) is completely different to the chairman coming in and saying right Arsene, I'm going to sell or renegotiate the contracts of all your top earning players. So because there isn't an existing wage structure, it means it wouldn't be possible to implement one? Give over. This place is full of retards. Sorry, of course you're right Wenger wouldn't bat an eyelid if his chairman told him he'd have to suddenly find replacements for Fabregas, Van Persie, Arshavin & Gallas (guessing at top earners here) because they're over a wage cap he's just come up with. He's already shackled with having to work within a tight £100m+ wage budget so he probably wouldn't mind at all being told which players were going to be sold off for him. What a tool. Right, would you care to name who our equivalent to those players are? Nolan, Butt and Alan Smith? I'm sure the manager would be gutted.

  10. I'd just not give them a new contract / offer them a crap contract / offer them to other clubs. If they didn't accept then fine, but they'll be out the door when their contract is out if no-one would take me them off my hands before then. you may well still be paying them hugh wages for 3 or 4 years then . is it all high earners or just those that you think are under performing or do you get rid of them all even if it is to the detriment of the teasm ? isn't it more just a case of recognising the need to cut wages. What? I already said I'd offer them a crappier contract.. I'd implement a wage structure, and there'd be no exceptions to the rule. And yes, I'm aware people may still be hanging around for 3/4 years if I couldn't shift 'em. it's all easier said than done. can you imagine the negotiations with a posiible transfer to take 30thou when people at the club are still on 50thou. how tough would you be to the detriment of the team ?. it's a tricky thing to try and improve the team, stick to a wage structure, and compete in the market. a lot trickier than some seem to think. Yeah, I know they'd tell me to fuck off, but you'd still ask. It's kinda hard to say how much it'd be to the detriment of the team, I wouldn't have any exceptions to the rule as far as a wage structure goes, but I'd aim to replace the Nolans and Butts of this world with up and coming players and Championship sloggers. This is all assuming a decent Championship stint to be honest.

  13. NUFC winning the Champions League is more likely than terraces being re-instated.
  14. Proper manager Wage restructure Get rid of the big earners
  15. Fair enough. It is a football forum though, ultimately a footballers death will be more high profile. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I just find it very odd how people get upset about deaths of footballers who people have probably never heard of (and yeah, I know, you've never heard of the soldiers who died either) Why would people not have heard of him?
  16. Adopted a child with his wife earlier this year. I cannot understand why you'd do this. I don't think I ever want to tbh. RIP
  17. If they send me another email, I'm gonna riot.

  19. She's been kicked out of the league. I wonder what she's like in the bedroom.
  20. This thread is FM tastic. Send your scout off to the far reaches of the earth, only for him to come back and tell me that London has a population of 7 million and I should sign Fernando Torres.

    Reds v Blues?

Well anything after Mid-December is no go for me, so I guess I'm a NO.
