  1. Shouldn't have given him the money if it couldn't be sustained.
  2. Personally, I'd have Carroll and Harewood up-front atm. If Carroll was injured, I'd bring in Ranger and if Harewood was injured, I'd bring in Lovenkrands. The 'big man, little man' effect. Even if none of the 'little men' are actually little, it's more the style of play I'm referring to really. P.S. I am not a massive believer in Mr Lovenkrands, I think he has some pace and very little else. Still, better than most the shite in this ridiculous league.
  3. I bought an AC Milan shirt from there. It's canny. I'd normally buy a S but had to get a Medium. It's alright though, just a smidge baggy.
  4. At what point will people make proper thread titles rather than ones that waste my fucking time.
  5. But we've already lost. No chance. Might as well goto France. [/this stupid fucking thread]
  6. BBC has an amazing ability to pick awful, awful photos of players/managers... http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/46468000/jpg/_46468263_benitez.jpg
  7. The thing is, I'm one of those 'realist' (pessimistic) people, yet I still think we'll piss all over this league (injuries permitting). Yes we'll lose a few games here and there, but ultimately, we're playing against some teams that just aren't very good. I still think our squad needs more depth incase of injuries, but obviously thats not a massive concern for the game tonight!
  8. Aye, just like we've been in for a shock before every game this season. If half the teams had good/decent strikers we would have been. We have been a bit lucky in games this year. But they don't! Thats why they're in this shitty fucking league. If Ipswich had Leo Messi on the wing, they probably would've done better than lose 4-0 at home.
  9. It's not exactly a suprise that these tournaments are generally ignored by England with the dollar behind the Premier League and the awful timing of the competition.
  10. Aye, just like we've been in for a shock before every game this season.
  11. Alan Smith a converted striker is a better midfielder than J.Barton. Kevin Nolan is more of goal threat. Jonas is more creative. Being slightly better than Butt & kissing the Newcastle badge at SOL is all this fucker has in the locker. I agree with all you had to say, until you said 'slightly' better than Butt. I'm slightly better than Butt, Barton is lightyears ahead.
  12. Yeah but we get a foot long for over £5. Subway HQ have some piss-poor conversion rates going on. I'd happily put up with the jingle for a little more value. I've been Quiznos-ing recently anyway, I'm enjoying the change.
  13. I can't be botherd to sift through this dire thread, can someone just tell me when we expect a ruling on this case?

I think that's a bit hopeful tbh.. I think it was an effort at goal, a poor one at that, but he did exactly what a striker should've done in that he headed it across goal and headed it downwards.
  15. Bit harsh on Wolves I think. They've played some nice football. Gash goals though.
  16. Good game this like. Zero quality, but a lot of entertainment. Filthy mackems.
  17. Hull's defence was very Ipswich-esque today.
  18. Ha, that's a point isn't it. Your average 'decent' Championship team (ie, top half/shout at the play-offs)... their first choice team includes Peter Ramage. Why did we ever think this league was any good? I dunno if he's a regular there or what tbh, don't get your hopes up.
