I reckon Blackpool are due a hiding tbh. I can't see Ian Holloway et al really doing much of a job.

I've enjoyed it, but I'm finding it very hard to understand why "It's one of the toughest leagues to get out of".
-
I'd gladly have Almunia in the team after watching the game yesterday.

Rob Green. Not outstanding by any means, but generally isn't gonna fail us on the big stage by flapping around ala DJ. Even if DJ is probably a better overall goalkeeper. Kirkland is far too injury prone, and not that good. Foster won't be first team for Man Utd when VDS returns. Paul Robinson is fat and shit. Mike you're an idiot / want England to lose. Infact, I imagine the latter was your intention

Ok, if he played for Nigeria, he wouldn't be playing for us all of January. So he can piss off.

I see Butt coming back in because of the outdated notion of captaincy. I expect Guthrie to be frequently used as the least important midfielder, first off the teamsheet.
-
The DB view is like this... Harper Raylor Saylor Colo Enrique Barton Guthrie Smith Jonas Lovenkrands Ameobi
-
I think Butt is nailed on to start every game he's available for. At least until CH realises how shit he is. Harper Raylor Saylor Colo Enrique Lovenkrands Butt Smith Jonas Nolan Ameobi Please note: these are my views on what CH will do, not what I'd do.

Still don't really understand it tbh. Championship clubs have always signed players on short term loan deals, and we are not the only club who has said we will use it. Yeah, I don't really understand it either. Probably like most things in football, there are rules but you don't have to abide by them if you don't fancy it. The term 'emergency' is just their way of getting round the transfer window for lower league clubs. It doesn't have to be any special situation to sign a player on loan for 3 months. Which is what is said in that thread if you read it all. Consider me chastened. Give me a minute to google what chastened means. Ok. I now considered you chastened.

You couldn't remember "YO Sushi" ?

This was a retarded opinion in the first place. One of our managers, years ago, under a previous owner, chose not to play a loan signing too often. OH MY GOD, the heartless b******. Whether it was the right decision or not, it was Roeder's choice to play Rossi, and he generally chose not to. So yeah, it didn't work out great for Man Utd, but there are never any assurances. Fergie isn't retarded, he knows this, so quite why people around here see it as some massive travesty of justice is beyond me. Bollocks, Fergie carrys more grudges than the Krays. Know him well, do you?

What's the difference between relying on midfielders to score and relying on strikers to score? errr.... Seriously, explain it. The difference between a striker and a midfielder? No. Again, avoiding the question. What are you on, man? Read my post above. I was quoting Chezgiven, I answered you. Chezgiven totally avoided my argument which wasn't trying to state the difference between a striker and midfielder. Yeah! Totally. Its too banal a question to engage in. If your team scores 100 goals a season then it doesnt matter who scores them. If your team needs to score 100 goals (a hypothetical example), then you wouldnt rely on midfield to do it. So "What's the difference between relying on midfielders to score and relying on strikers to score? ", the difference being that the probability of tjhe midfielders getting the goals is lower seeing as they arent specialist goal scorers. But the midfielders have have already proven they are capable of scoring enough, hence why we are top with only one of our strikers having scored and most goals coming from midfield. If Nolan and Guthrie were suddenly said to now be strikers would that mean the worry was over? 'proven'

Obviously. How is that obvious? He's mediocre at best, and English. Ah, fair point.

England under-21 and West Bromwich Albion footballer Joe Mattock has been charged with assaulting four people. Dodged a bullet after all?

*UEFA rules permit any player born on or after 1 January 1988 who has been eligible to play for the club for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday to be registered outside of the 25-man squad limit. Therefore, anyone who qualifies under that rule does not need to be listed in the main champions league squad to be eligible to play. Conversely, people eligible under that rule will always be listed to play, even if the management have no intention of playing them. Nothing to see here people. Oh my god! A horrible plane crash! Hey everybody, get a load of this flaming wreckage! Come on, crowd around, crowd around!

Aye. People need to be very careful about their pre-planning for getting to the games. I imagine it isn't too difficult to know whether certain games have already been considered for TV coverage or not.

I prefer Colo to Dunne tbh
