Don't think Carver has anything about him to be given that chance. Agree with this. I want him gone, but really unless we have a good manager lined up ready to take the reins there really is absolutely no point sacking him until the season is through. I don't think he'll send us down though, despite the shit we've been watching recently. This will be more down to other results than ours, though (in my opinion of course). I'd rather the club sits down during the summer break and really look at our options and try to get the best manager available out there so we're not in this position again in 12 months. There's no need to rush. Could appoint a high profile interim manager, ala Chelsea. But who wants to do that to their reputation?

I think if you want to be remembered truly as a great you have to do something like stay at a club for a long time, showing ability to get through generations of players whilst still having success, much like SAF.
