Yeah that's why I said it's not a real worry to me, but saying that we're just 2 points off of the same away fixtures last season as a reason to say that our away form is not really that bad is just a bit misleading when you think about how many points we now need to take to replicate last seasons away tally. It's as if our first 5 fixtures just happened to be the 5 games we lost last season (would be impossible, but just an example), and then when we lose all 5 it's like "yeah but we lost them last season too", but then we need to be the invincibles for the rest of the season to not lose more than last season.
we're 4 points off aren't we?
West Ham -2
Brighton -1
Bournemouth -1

Neves will be coming in Jan.

will be honest, I would throw this game as next round we would just draw Arsenal or Liverpool. after City and Man United... almost as unreal draw as the CL group.
there are PL clubs yet to face a PL club in Carabao we have City and United...
also if United goes through it helps us in a way to keep them tired later on.
I also expect City to nick the win tomorrow in the manchester derby meaning Ten Hag will want to bounce back vs Newcastle and use a stronger line up.
'United'

You’d think for 55 million quid that due diligence would be fairly extensive on a players background. Bit of a balls up by Dan Ashworth if they failed to pick up on this.
How would ashworth know if he’d had a couple of bets whilst at Milan like?

Did Gordon get injured last night?
Looked fine to me just knackered
no, he's suspended for this though.

Emery is brilliant like.
It's very comforting to know that the people running our club wanted him or Howe.
Both doing great jobs.

I thought he was excellent tonight.

just seen it, hope it isn't him

But after spending £420m or whatever it is on a team that came close to trophies under the previous manager they should be having a go at the title imo.

Man Utd are bang average. Got away with it lots last season and grinded results out. They could easily be 10th as they could 3rd if the tables turn a bit on them.
weird team.

Never really rated Son. I know he's scored goals for Spurs, but just every time I've seen him play he's just been average. Cliche - but I think he goes missing in games.
Wouldn't have him ahead of Gordon, Barnes, Isak, Joe or even Willock on the LW.
Edit - FWIW wouldn't have Kane here starting over Wilson or Isak.
You'd have Wilson over Kane?
Howay man 😂

If we get £6M for him we have someone very astute at doing our outgoing transfers. Made a pretty coin on Wood/Jonjo and now Darlow.
we made close to nowt on Jonjo.

Wouldn't be surprised if we bring in a different winger/AM and then maybe come back to Maddison later in the window on top of that. Maybe late in the window we move on ASM/Miggy and bring Maddison in?
Leicester will have to sell him eventually.
nor me.
i think there's something in the chiesa rumours, he seems to fit the bill. Wouldn't be surprised to see us go for him and address maddison later in the window should he still be available.

It's a very Man United signing. He's decent, but there's better on the market for much less outlay.
it’s as if they don’t have scouts. -
Mail reckon Man Utd value him at £55m, Chelsea at £85m.

Man Utd have got Mount according to Jason Burt,

The Leicester fans seem to think he is a bit of a Shelvey, has bags of technical ability and unplayable on his day but his days are too infrequent.
i sat with 4 Leicester fans pre match on Monday. I asked 'is he as good as everyone thinks he is'.
'He's better' was their answer.

He’s in London with the squad. Hasn’t trained all week though.

So the his alleged affair is unrelated to "the spot of bother" Lovejoy was talking about?
aye, his mrs is away and he hasn't trained the last few days because of it.
Could train today and play Sunday of course, who knows.
