I thought rain was a true reflection of Edinburgh, it always seemed to rain when I was driving past. I would get to Dalkeith and the heavens would open, drive over the Forth Road Bridge and it would be dry again.

I think we need to get rid of N'Zogbia as soon as possible, before we know it he'll be drink driving, getting bailed for pissing in the streets and fighting with his team mates during a match, Shepherd, get a grip man. So the bloke who texts during a team talk is going to get his arse smacked by a bloke who slags fans off in brothels, calls his captain, tells us his captain is going to knock 10 bells out of somebody then denies it on the club site, threatened to hit the chairman of the managers union, shoots Bambi, etc etc. Aye, Right. I think somebody lacks a bit of perspective. I really don't know how he's got the cheek to come out and have a go at others for doing much less than he's done. N'Zogbia has clearly shown no respect to those in temporary charge on Sunday but its not the end of the world and its the managers job to sort it out. If Allardyce thinks he should go for it then so be it, he should go.

Allardyce has said that his backroom staff was one of the reasons he shopped in the bargain basement so it looks as if he had the choice at Bolton so he'll probably have the same here. I would guess that he has so much to spend and it will be up to him how he does it.

I understand how some are a bit sick of what West Ham have got away with but it's not that much really, not if they sorted it by loaning Teves, what was different before and after the investigation? The rules are supposed to be to prevent match fixing, could the same not have happened when he was officially loaned anyway?

The best thing he can do is sort out the hangers on, get rid of all those who bring nothing to the club. The players we have will see us through next season so he needs to sort his staff out, get it right off the field and the rest will come with a bit of work. I really hope to see the back of people like Terry Mac, he offers nothing to the club. I think he cares about Newcastle but that isn't enough.

Jesus, bring back Roeder, I don't think I can take all of these long positive posts.

All we need now is for somebody to search through icnewcastle and look for articles by Oliver where he has had a go at Allardyce and send them to him via the club. You won't have to look hard! nufc.com put up something from Oliver last week where he slated Allardyce. I might send it, I wonder if his e-mail address is [email protected]?

It will be refreshing if those at Thompson House have to work for a change instead of being hand fed shite, we might even see something which is worth reading although I'm not going to hold my breath on that one.

It looks like he's just about covered everything with that, it's good to actually hear something coming out of the club that you can listen to and take it seriously, it's the first time I've done that since Bobby left.

Well done Freddy, you've proven that even an idiot gets things right once in a while, I suppose its the laws of average.

Lets hope the next is better than the last.

I shouldn't but I will.

Season over, thank God. Is this our lowest points total since coming back up?
-
Lighten up.

Freddy?

So was I, I've got had nowt better to do.

Care to expand on that? I can't remember hearing paint dry.

I don't agree even if we're only playing for pride it should always mean something.
-
I wonder if Roeder left the team sheet before resigning?

I suggest you add up the figures and positions again. Or get your accountant chum to do it for you ? You know, the bloke who said that Souness should be backed to the hilt even though he was told that the actions of booting out Bellamy and Robert and throwing money at replacements would have serious consequences for the club. If we stay where we are now after today we have an average league position of 9.4, I hope this helps.

Allardyce will have had a shopping list in mind for Bolton, it will be interesting what the reported £25 million does to that original list that he'd have been working on because I doubt he'd have been looking at that sort of budget a couple of weeks ago. We'll never know what he was planning for Bolton but we'll see what he does here.
