I suppose it depends how you read it, I took the gist of it to read that the club is in danger of a fair number of regular season ticket renewers not doing so next season which is nothing that hasn't been said on here before. Some folk are taking a giant jump and taking it as an insult to non-going fans/kids/forum users, I don't. I would have thought that saying "not to be confused with harassed parents and numpty tosspots queuing for the new home shirt" was meant as an insult, I wouldn't say it as anything other than an insult.
  2. Have you ever timed how long it takes you to make a decision or have you not made up your mind yet as to whether you should do it or not?

I don't agree about him feeling the pain more than others, although he might, how does he know how much it hurts others? Everybody feels pain differently and it doesn't matter if it's physical or mental. I wouldn't even try to compare my pain threshold with others, pain is personal and one person trying to say that they feel it more than others is just crazy. When my grandparents died my brother and sister cried yet I didn't, it doesn't mean that it hurt them more, it means we dealt with it differently.
  4. Glenn, Do you agree that the performances while you were caretaker were more down to Souness leaving than you becoming manager and do the performances this season prove that?

The message they put out in the article being discussed here was probably shared by most, the way they came across was a bit shit, taking a swipe at some fans the way they did was stupid, that's probably why they are getting stick.

    Dyer guilt

He said something along those lines a while back, at least the comments about his part in Sir Bobby getting sacked, I can't remember where I've seen them, it might have been around the time he had his spat with Bowyer.
  7. The squabbling on the forum should really stop, I know I get involved as much as anybody but it should all end. I don't think I've been as bored with any subject in my life. We should all allow each other to give views, we don't have to agree, I think disagreeing is half of the fun of coming on here. We've tried to put each other down to score points, I know I have but I'm not the only one. I'm not going to bait NE5 and he's not going to bait me, if the two of us can pack it in then everybody can. Try it.
  8. Roeder would not give any details of what was said but he told me today: "I needed to tell the players what my thoughts were because once again this was a game we should not have lost but we did. What did Roeder do, read them a nursery rhyme?
  9. You can't say anything new, it's all been said before because we've known the problems for long enough. The more the message goes out the more people will listen.
  10. Nah man, the poll question says "which season makes you feel ill?" which is subtly different to "what has been the worst season?" - easy to see how I voted that way. I didn't even read that one.
  11. I've gone for this one and only because we're still going though it, the Souness arrival was bad but that's history.

  13. Agreed but could we afford to give Shearer the job? We gave Souness almost £50 million, how much would Shearer demand to spend on players? How much could the club afford to give him while we're carrying so much debt? Appointing Shearer could go either way, it might work but it could also fail big style.

    Would...

The trouble is that even if we do have an excellent finish you know if will all fall apart, of that you can be sure.
  15. We know what will probably happen if Roeder goes, we'll invite Shearer to take the job on and some people will be over the moon because of what Shearer did for us a player. I wouldn't be surprised if Shearer turned down the chance, he would if he had his head screwed on because he has a place in the hearts of some people which would be gone if he failed as a manager.
  16. What a typical stupid question. How the hell do I answer who the replacement to the current board could be? I could easily say Bill Gates of the Sultan of Brunei and you couldn't say that they wouldn't be any better, or could you?
  17. I wouldn't be suprised if we have our first < 45,000 league gate since the ground was expanded.
  18. Not at all, you've been found out anyway, it makes no difference at all.
  19. I liked the advert so much I watched them 4 times, I had the MOD careers one twice and an advert for a film twice.
  20. That's what I thought, was is the one for the armed forces?
  21. To be fair to NE5, you might have said it the past to Leazes Mag or Beermonster, I would check before automatically rubishing his reply.
