  1. It's unbelievable and desperation to be right. Ramage is now going off injured but we don't need a defender. Sibierski at CB, we have PLENTY of defenders Jesus wept, it's 3 at the back, we've got loads of defenders. bluebiggrin.gif
  2. Sibierski at centre back.bluebiggrin.gif

  4. Because of Shepherd and his mismanagement we're damned if we do and damned if we don't. Because of Shepherd we're skint but not in a position to sit back and live with what we've got, the squad is paper thin because of his decisions, not mine and not because of any supporter, just the chairman. You really are a hypocrite, you defend the person who had put us into this position while you have a go at fans who just want the best, something that Shepherd hasn't delivered. Did I, or any other supporter force Shepherd to bring in Souness? Did I, or any other supporter force him to sell Bellamy and Robert? Did I, or any other supporter force him to buy Boumsong and Luque? Years ago we sold our best players as you say, we replaced them on the cheap, under Shepherd and his mismanagement we've sold them on the cheap and replaced them with expensive players who have too often been flops. Robert goes on a free, Luque comes in at something like £9million, Bellamy goes for less than £4 million, Woodgate goes for £13 million only to see most of that fee invested in Boumsong for £8.5 million, oh how lucky we are to have deals like that, it's brilliant that we can make a £5.5 million loss on a player. Who has said that pre-1992 is the same as it is today?

    Terry back op?

I though he only had it 2/3 days ago? That can't be right surely? He was seen training yesterday, I watched him on SSN, maybe the operation revealed that the problem wasn't as bad as first thought, he was running around a field yesterday.

    Terry back op?

The operation had something to do with a disc, he was back in training yesterday.
  7. It's good to see that the clubs plight is down to those who point out that we are financially in the shit and nowt to do with the bloke who created the situation, pathetic fools.

Where's this post that was made a while ago asking if we should buy Crouch for the fee involved? The one where I didn't give an answer. Provide a link and I'll answer it. I always say the "shit board" should spend within it's means and will not change my mind on that one. I've said that we should expect and get value for money. Here's a few you fail to answer, have a go at them. I do highlight that this shite chairman has taken us backwards, do you agree? Do you also agree that Doug Ellis is shite and he's guided Villa to finish higher up the league more times than Shepherd has guided us to finish higher than Villa? In other words, you think the club should spend nothing in january as you constantly harp on about the financial situation ? Yes or now ? Answer the question. We have not had as good a manager as keegan since he left so we haven't matched 2nd place, I believe I have said this numerous times. The Bobby Robson era came close which was most definitely a step in the right direction, achieving 3 consecutive top 5 positions for the first time in over 50 years. Do you think we have a divine right to finish in the top 2, or we are "going backwards" if we finish lower - by the same criteria do you think Arsenal have gone backwards as they haven't won the league in the last 2 years, and manu are going backwards since they won the European Cup in 1999 ?? Aston Villa have certainly gone massively backwards since Ellis took over in 1980 and they were currently European Champions, wouldn't you agree with these facts ? ...and when exactly under the NUFC board pre-1992 that you think is the same as this one even finish in the top 5 never mind get anywhere near the top 2 ? Meanwhile, we have transformed the stadium and built a new up to date training complex. Do you think this is the actions of a club not planning for the future and "going backwards" ..... and similar to the shite board that you think is the same that ran the club from the 1950's up until 1992 ? Excellent, I really enjoyed that post, the use of ?? at one point had me on the edge of my seat.
  9. Where are all of these people who think a new fullback will score the goals if Martins is injured? You really are desperate to make yourself look stupid, are you doing this for a bet? if you think it is daft, so do I. Maybe you should ask these people why they think a full back and/or a central defender is the priority, not me, because it isn't me who is saying it. Maybe they have a crystal ball like you, maybe the one they have tells them that we'll suffer injuries at the back in the way yours tells you that Martins is going to get injured. Maybe they see Shola being injured and Rossi returning to Man U as a need for a replacement, then again they may see the injuries to Carr, Moore, Babayaro, Bernard and Bramble as reasons to get somebody in to play at the back.

According to you, nobody, as you think we can't afford it. But I'm sure you will criticise if they buy, and criticise if they don't. Question: We've raped the reserves for defenders, where do we go after that? NE5's answer: According to you, nobody, as you think we can't afford it. But I'm sure you will criticise if they buy, and criticise if they don't. blueconfused.gif :confused:blueconfused.gif  Statement from you on numerous occasions "We are in a financial hole" [words to that effect]. Therefore pointing out the hypocrisy - as usual - stance ie when your sister comes on you take the view we should not spend yet when people say spend money you jump on the bandwagon....but then again that comes naturally to you doesn't it  And my supposition that you will criticise whatever action they take is spot on and you know it. So you quote me then say "words to that effect." In other words the quotes are your usual rubbish, funny you use words like "hypocrisy," that fits in with most of your posts. Just because one of the only people who agree with you is your brother doesn't mean everybody else is related just because they agree on a few issues.

  16. Who are these three managers Arsenal appointed who "failed" to win the league since the double? Bertie Mee is the one who won the double, Terry Neil won (and "failed" blueyes.gif) the FA Cup, Don Howe failed to win anything as far as I'm aware, then came George Graham who again won the League. Are we discounting Bertie Mee or George Graham? I'm just interested so that I know how history is being re-written, I'd hate to get it wrong. You have a go at Liverpool for having two managers, 1 of the two went on to have more success in 1 season than we've had since at least the 50's. Bollocks, Evans had more domestic success than we've had since 1955 by winning the League Cup yet he's shit. bluebiggrin.gif If this is all failure, what does that make our 1 Intertoto Cup success?
  17. The only mistake Liverpool made was keeping Evans for an extra year, if only we could complain about just 1 year. :wullie:

Anybody who thinks we can more afford another injury in defence is round the bend, just look what we put out against Bolton. An injury in defence at this time will probably cost us more than an injury to Sibierski who I think is on the same number of league goals as Dyer and Parker(guess). We've raped the reserves for defenders, where do we go after that?
  19. To be fair to him, he seems to have grown up lately, let's hope his priorities remain with his football, he's an asset to the club when fit. Happy Birthday.
  20. Here's the answer to one of his questions: The Arsenal board consistently get it wrong? George Graham (1986-1995): Littlewoods Cup winners 1987 Littlewoods Cup runners up 1988 League Championship 1989 League Championdhip 1991 FA Cup winners 1993 Coca-Cola Cup winners 1993 European Cup-Winners Cup winners 1994 Bruce Rioch (1995-1996): Won nothing, this must be where they "consistently got it wrong." Arsene Wenger (1996-To Date): Do I have to list them? Liverpool from the two managers they appointed. Roy Evans (1994-1998): League Cup 1995 Gerard Houllier (1998-2004): League Cup 2001 & 2003. FA Cup 2001. UEFA Cup 2001. Super Cup 2001. Charity Shield 2001.

Prick Care to expand? Obviously a dig at Roeder 'sorry nobody with a brain'. We kick off at all the West ham fans and other fans who sing insults at our manager and in my eyes you are trying to be funny with your comment. If you are not I will apologise. I don't think Roeder decides how much we pay for players so why would it be a dig at him? In my eyes you need to stop being too sensitive and reading things which don't exist in the first place.
